I'm VERY sorry for your loss! Sending lots of love & hugs you & your families way! Idk if your bro had kids or anything but even if he didn't this still is a good idea. My hubby lost his best friend since Kindergarten over a year ago. He had 1 son who was a teen & 1 that wasn't born. So, I suggested to my hubby to get a notebook (or even a nice keepsake book) & keep it w\him & every time he is reminded or remembers a story about him to write it in the book & then he wouldn't forget any good memories & he could give it or a copy of it to the kids so they could get to know their Dad. But it's also a good way just to remember ppl period & not feel like you're losing a the good memories especially as you get older. It will keep the good memories fresh in your mind! 💜💓💞🥰🥰 You could even do that in your group messages.

As a middle child with an older sister and younger brother I can definitely relate. My sister would take my clothes/jewelry and I would know right away because I kept my room clean and organized, so anything missing or out of place was easily noticed. She would even budge a few things occasionally and wait to see if I would notice the difference. Love my sister to death but we fought like cats and dogs growing up, so I definitely don’t miss living with her though our relationship is much better as adults. As a younger sibling, I relate to the ones about standing in the doorway. I actually broke my sister's door because she locked it and a wanted to get in her room so a forced it open anyway. Safe to say, her door never shut properly and never locked again. Having it be just us two sisters, who shared a bathroom meant that we didn't care about walking in on each other (she's only 3 years older than me, is my best friend, and we used to take showers together). The lock on the bathroom door was easy to unlock with our fingernails from the outside as there are many times I locked the door taking a shower when my sister just barged in, grabbed something, and left. I've done the same to her by simply unlocking the door while she's in the shower, shoving a cat in the bathroom, then closing the door back, without saying a word. At night, we don't even close the door, or turn on the light, I've walked in the bathroom only to hear "Hi!" many times. I wouldn't trade my sister for the world. I was maid of honor in her wedding and was the only bridesmaid who was under 21, and she let me read at her wedding.

However, I still found this quite funny and can now relate to a small degree because in my adulthood, I've acquired a pseudo sibling in one of my best friends: he's like a brother to me and we tease each other all the time. It's fun and infuriating and I can now understand the sibling thing more than before. Thanks, Charlotte, for another fun video. 👍🏻💜

My golden sibling moment was when my older brother was outside with his friends, and they were listening to the music through the loudspeaker he took out. And the music came from the double cassette player at home (that's how long ago that was) with the sound output switched to headphones, and through the adapter cord (a very long one, custom made exactly for this purpose) to the speaker. I was kindly asked to flip the cassettes when both of them were done playing. At one moment in between the songs I unplugged the speaker from the cassette player and plugged it into the headphones output in the TV set, just a moment before an ad with a particularly annoying catchphrase started. And upped the volume too :) That catchphrase blasted so loudly, it was hilarious )). And then the company down there outside burst out laughing. In a few moments my bro was back home, blocking the doorway and yelling RUUUUN!!! while laughing his ass off :) That was extremely satisfying :).

The 3 of us had a very weird relationship. We were best of friends except when we were literally beating the holy hell out of each other. We were crazy violent. Brother 1 used to severely beat brother 2 every time he heard him breath or move while brother 1 was playing video games. Brother 2 was a voluntary personal slave for me during childhood because he felt like I saved his life so many times by stepping in and fighting off brother 1. It was very violent....needless to say brother 2 disowned brother 1 many years ago. Actually explaining it I guess it was just me who was friends with both except when I had to fight one......ignore my 2nd statement about our relationship. The first stands true...it was a very weird relationship. 😕 I stopped talking to brother 2 when I found out he had been using his kids to extort money from our parents to the point they were put a half million in debt trying to fund his lifestyle or he wouldn't let them see their grandkids. I talk to brother 1 only when absolutely necessary cuz before mom had died (of broken heart syndrome -literally written on her chart takosubo) 💔 😪 she had reached out to brother 1 asking him for help and he said "your own fault, you shouldn't have trusted him" 😔 I didn't find out till too late.....I was away at college when 90% of that was happening. Sorry for venting. It started out as a positive comment. Only reason I am posting instead of discarding is cuz writing it out felt kinda cathartic. And deleting it might remove that feeling sooner.
