The Great Ride Open looked like an absolutely epic adventure! I’m bummed to see it’s not part of the Motomision events this year. Slick Rock looked incredible, and seeing Bradley tackle it on the KLR was impressive. Glad you made it through that cobra encounter unscathed and hit the big 5-0. Happy Birthday!

What a beautiful area for day 1. Missy and I have spent a lot of time Overlanding Utah in our van. I cannot wait to get the Himalayan out there some time. Great video buddy. I see some faces I know from Father - Son Weekend. Good stuff. P.S. Milt's is amazing right!

Really good stuff Brock. I would still like to show you some of Colorado that you've never been. The flat tops and Northwest Colorado. No crowds no side by sides.❤

Run the rallz front and rear. I live on section 2 of wabdr and they are perfect for me

I rode a BMW 800 GS out there 2 years ago. Absolutely best ride of my life, but easily the scariest. It was my fist time on the BMW or any dual sport bike. Moab is my all time favorite place to visit. Can't wait to see the White Rim Trial video. I chickened out riding it.

Yes. You got it. It’s incredible. Wait til you see next week

Another great job documenting the ride , went riding in Moab in April of 2021 for a week had a blast, going back April of 2025 , I guess JR didn’t have his aprilla yet

He did not have that bike yet. But it’s time for him to ride it with me

Everyone needs to experience Utah at least once, the camera does not do it justice. Thanks for starting our Sunday off on a positive note.

Fantastic video. I almost rode my Harley to Moab when i was cruising around Colorado but it was 70-80 degrees in the mountains and 100+ in Moab, so I stayed in the high country. Maybe next time.
@MotoMission.Күн бұрын
Yes. I did the same thing one year in my road glide. I saw snow in Colorado and then the next day 115 degrees in Moab.

Great Film~! I ride a Tuareg 660 for the BDRs and ADV Offroad. My tire choice are the Anakee Wild Frt/Rallz RrR. It's a great combo with good offroad performance and great longevity. I see your dash is working now, can you share the fix needed? Also, when can we get a walk-through of your van? My wife and I are looking at a van and mirror your BDR style of a couple on the road both having their own adventure. We did the MABDR, sortof that way, where I did 2 sections a day and my wife met me each night at the overnight.
@MotoMission.Күн бұрын
Not sure what’s going on with my dash. Having something happen. Could be related to my abs elimination. Diagnosing it. I have some van emphasis coming up in later videos. Be a couple months tho. I love your story. Great to hear that you and your wife are on adventure

lol ....Utah Cobra. when i first found your channel a few years ago the first time you called a Dog a"Pitbull" that was clearly not I thought "WTH??' then when you did it to others as well i realized it was part of your shtick and now I see your repertoire is not species biased :) okay back to the video :)

@sippycup6762Күн бұрын
How does your buddy operate the clutch with one arm? Did he move it to the throttle side and give up the front brakes?
@MotoMission.Күн бұрын
He has a recluse clutch. So it’s like an auto shift
@sippycup6762Күн бұрын
@@MotoMission. Thanks, never heard of such. I broke my right arm as a kid and moved the throttle to the left side of my xr 75. Not going to let disabilities get in the way of riding.
@daviddrabek5834Күн бұрын
The Reklus is a great clutch and allows me to still shift without pulling the lever in.

Some tires are great on certain bikes and not so great on others. the TKC80 may work well on a KLR but maybe not so well on a DRZ400. One tire may be great for sand but not as good on big rocks. If you have a favorite for the KTM 690, it may not be as effective on the KTM 990. I am on a KLX300.I chose to go with the popular D606/MT21 combo because it does pretty well on small dual sports, over various changing terrains. Not great in some specific conditions, but pretty good as various conditions change.
@MotoMission.Күн бұрын
Yeah. I agree tires are very specific I have found some great combinations. I have loved the Motoz on the 890 and the t7
