as for screws go: the trail probably goes through somebody else's property, so they think they have control over the road also. there are allot of people like that where we ride around here in NY. we would have picked up the screws and went through anyway, but I guess if you're riding alone it is best not to risk getting into some kind of confrontation with someone

In the NE the rock walls would have define farm areas. The farmers would plow and have the kids run behing to take the rock and put them at the boundaries . Would also work for the cattle..

Adventure rider from Ohio, currently a watcher. I was rear-ended while on my bike. I was stopped for traffic that was turning, and the car behind me didn't even attempt to stop. She was doing 55 mph when she hit me. I'm recovering from a broken right shoulder, torn rotator cuff, broken left wrist, and a broken rib. But God is good and spared my life to ride again. I hope to ride with you one day, Brock. Keep up the great content.

Whoa. I am sorry to hear that my friend. I’ve had some injuries over the years and understand a little bit about it. It is hard to wait and heal up. But just keep moving forward because you will get better. I thought I would maybe not be able to ride or do adventurous things but I have healed up and made big recoveries. Hope the videos help pass the time and give you inspiration. Keep me updated

@ Have to stay pretty close to WV. We (wife, daughter, son in law and granddaughter) go on camping trips. Son in law and I pack the bikes with camping gear ( he rides KLX 400), and the girls pack up in the truck. I think we just missed you, when you were doing the MABDR. We were camping / riding around Harpers Ferry.

Wow! For someone that has ridden "tens of thousands of miles" on their motorbike, for you to not have any cash on you is a cardinal sin. Small towns in Iowa and the Midwest, many stores are "cash only". Learn from it.

Well I have plenty of mistakes. I have traveled 300 days a year for over 25 years. I don’t always have enough cash. I happened to give away my cash earlier on this trip and forgot to find more. It happens. But I survived.
