Many lessons to learn from this , if you don’t want to get your feet wet call the fire service, if you drive fast enough you can wreck your van in 6” of water, if you manage to get through ok turn around and try again , if a mechanic tells you not to try starting your engine ignore them and try to wreck it. If you see a post showing you it’s 3 feet deep don’t quit carry on anyway.

I do see your point but however this is how they have to cross compared to the US we actually have what's called storm drains therefore we hardly never have this issue and the UK does have this issue therefore they had to be pulled out every single time if the UK actually spent money on doing storm drains this actually would never happen and to rerout the water somewhere else that simple

@@camcarryamichoh here we go an American that thinks they know everything about the UK 🤦🏼‍♂️ do you think we don't have drainage in the UK? A country where it rains for at least half the year? And you know the people that helped invent the modern sewerage system? Those flood areas are either side of rivers and are called Fords (not the car brand) during heavy rainy periods the roads surrounding them flood as the river rises, some more than others but as this is only temporary it's pointless spending millions of pounds to build bridges over them especially when there's adequate signage and road closures in place that brainless morons ignore. It's not like the US where a road closure could add miles and miles on to your journey most of these idiots would still have cars/vans if they took a 10-15 minute detour.
