I recently started doing isometic pull up holds and static hangs to increase pull up reps. I can barely hold them for 15 seconds each. Those dudes are very strong.

Hey, someone on a discord server told me that working planche progressions is useless, I should work on handstand pushup and supinated back levers instead, that way I will get planche faster. Is that true?
@Stellarisium5 ай бұрын
Let me help you to understand 1. spike push ups/Hand stand push ups = Stronger Shoulders Will help for planche 2. L sti/Plank = Stronger core, Helps for Planche 3. Psedo push ups = helps you To gain insane Strenght 4. Tuck planche Stand for 40 second = will help you to Have Stronger form, Sronger Stand Ability and better core. Do those and it will help more

supinated back levers are optional, it might be helpful with conditioning for supi planche, maltese ect. just build a solid base with handstand pushups or any pushing movements, which can even be normal overhead presses, weighted dips and so on and then prioritise planche progressions after you reach a sufficient level of strength
@9uaodjiiajkasda5 ай бұрын
pseudo planche pushups are great as well while building your base, as they have some specificity towards planche but would still be considered basics, if you have any way to mark where you put your hands and feet or head you can progressively overload the lean over time

Bro. 1 song means 30 pull ups, you really think there is someone who can do 60 pull ups in a row with that pace? Maybe few people in a world.
@hikari96295 ай бұрын
@@ukaszazr4120 I mean yeah it's hardcore but maybe the fact that there are breaks in the bottom position can help, if your grip is very solid and allow you to rest
@ukaszazr41205 ай бұрын
@@hikari9629 7 min(2x song) hang is doable if u change your hands often at the bottom position, my best is 12 min 35 sec, but 60 pullups ? naaa thats too much for me my best 22. But yea would be great to see if someone is capable of doing it.
