This is a beautiful compilation of songs i've never heard Karen Carpenter sing before until now. Thank you for making this video. When i hear her sing, it reminds me of sweeter days when i was young and life was easier. Gosh, i wish i could go back to that time. The 70's were so wonderful. No cell phones, the fast pace lifestyle, or crazy people. I loved being a kid then and enjoyed the simplicity of it. How can we capture that time and innocence today? I want to live in a rural community, where i can have a garden, grow my own food, and live a quiet life. I am tired of being in the city and really need a change. I pray for God to answer this prayer and let me have some peace. This video almost makes me cry for that longing to be happy again. I wish Karen was still alive to grace our presence and give us the magic that she was to so many. What a gift she had in her voice to express her emotions through the music. She must have been deeply sad inside to be able to invoke such feelings in the many that heard her sing with such depths. I can identify with her pain and know what it feels like to want so desperately to feel loved and are unable to capture it. Joy is elusive for many. This video reminds me of what i'm missing. I sure hope it's still possible to change my life. God Bless her and hope she is finally at peace in heaven. 🙏✝️💞🎤🎹🎵

I definitely agree. Karen Carpenter is a once in a lifetime gift to us. She is like a comet that graced our lives for a blink, and then she was gone. It's kind of like a meteor shower. @@jackhouran8851 By all accounts Richard had his own troubles with pain killers and he tried his best to get her help. She was strong willed to begin with and wasn’t able to get a handle on her problems and likely wanted to do it her way. It was just a terrible situation.
