You don’t use your vocoder do you? I’m thinking about getting a used one. And you’re the main reason because of these DM tutorials. Was either this or a Minilogue. Imma beginner. This seemed easier for me. And I got a lotta helpful shit on my side for learning… like videos like this. What are some cheap amps you recommend?
@DavidGordonJDXi9 ай бұрын
I don't think you'll be disappointed. I have used the vocoder in some of my covers. Check out my version of Joy Division 'Transmission' and Pink Floyd 'Another Brick in the Wall'. I also use a small amount of the harmoniser on most of my vocals. Good luck and let me know how you get on. All the best, David 🎹🎶👍

Great idea, poor execution, Xi display is unreadable due to low video resolution (720p). There's no way to follow your steps for a new user. Too bad cause this could be it. I can imagine most commentators here simply watch and listen, others like me may be trying to learn something programming their JD-Xi.
@DavidGordonJDXi10 ай бұрын
You'll find other people making videos that will help you with programming your JD-Xi. But I don't think you'll find many that break down song sequences and provide accompanying notes like I do! Good luck with your JD-Xi
