About the confidence part (53:55) Your level of confidence is directly related to many things, although the most important one is your personality trait. Other elements such as your uprising, your education, and the people around you also play a role in shaping said confidence. Think about what confidence is: "Confidence comes from the Latin word 'fidere' which means "to trust"; therefore, having self-confidence is having trust in one's self. One's confidence increases from experiences of having satisfactorily completed particular activities." (Wikipedia) BUT You need to distinguish self-confidence (which according to psychologists is a personality trait) from self-efficacy (which is the belief in one’s ability to succeed in specific situations or accomplish a task). So Nick is naturally self-confident, and winning the NY Pro made him self-efficacious in believing he can win/place well at the Arnolds. TLDR; self-confidence is genetics self-efficacy is the confidence you have for a task when you have the knowledge.

From knowing nick to an extent or atleast knowing his story; I feel nicks confidence and results come from his lack of confidence/control in his past. Going through such a traumatic situation at such a young age; I feel that lack of control pushed into the ultimate control he has now. He found a sport/lifestyle he can have complete control of

TY guys for another awesome BroChat:)) Iain has a ton of momentum coming into the Arnold - and if I recall, he got the same kinda of polarizing feedback last year after the NY Pro?? Course, momentum should not affect judging, but in this lineup, I think it could provide the edge to influence the athletes, crowd, and judges. It's gonna be down to the little details. And who isn't with Oxygen gym?!? Do you think that more athletes in one gym/under one coach helps or hurts?
