I fill the jelly or jam jar with hor water when it's at the stage like in the introduction to this video and add a tea bag. It makes a great sweetened tea drink.

As a child, my mother used to give me small chunks of soft bread (no crusts) and a pair of chopsticks to sop up the remaining jam. Yum! with a cup of tea for my snack.
