Some of the spoons should have been sold as a separate collection because they were what are known as Apostle Spoons. They were made and sold in sets of 13, 12 Apostles and 1 of Christ, and were known as Apostle spoons as each had the figure of an Apostle on the top. If original and complete they are rare and very expensive. The later EPNS were not so rare but still sell for a good price if there is a complete set in good condition. 'nuf sed

I have a Shirly Temple curly top bride doll in my doll collection. A man in a theft store sold it to me for $100 dollars. The doll is worth more than any houndred dollers and I know it.

Have you ever looked at something and thought "oh that looks nice, its probably X amount of money" and then looked at the price tag and gone "WHOA THATS A LOT". Sometimes we everyday people dont know the actual value of smt. If a sign looks like a sign then Id pay 20£ for it. How tf am I supposed to know that sign is actually from 1860 and actually worth 1000£? And same the other way. I buy a cheap ring at a yard sale and it turns out that its real gold and actually worth 100£. We dont always know the value of things.

It's not really an auction program, it's a "get rid of your junk" program. Have you seen Bargain Hunt or The Auction House? They can't go to different auction houses for EACH type of item that has been hoarded, it would be a twenty hour show.
