I watched my Grandmother suffer and die from mesothelioma. One 1/2 lung excised, 12months later the rest of it with chemo and radiation in between in the ‘80s .The chemo and radiation was harder on her than if she would’ve left the cancer stay. I watched her disappear, and lost her when I was 7 . Witnessing that changed me forever . We deserve better , our children deserve better , our passed cancer warriors deserved better.

I’m so thankful that my eyes were opened the second time I was diagnosed with the same cancer. I did do chemo pills and radiation however, very quickly, within a couple months, realized it was killing me, not healing me. I stopped everything and that has been 2 1/2 years now. I changed my lifestyle and my two choices even though I was quite health conscious beforehand I had no idea how bad” healthy” food was overall. I’ve managed to maintain a livable amount of cancer in my body with a very high-quality of life. I pray daily that people will open their eyes and stop getting this type of treatment.

I am an ex nurse and now a lifestyle medicine educator. I teach Chinese physicians how to use lifestyle medicine interventions to help reverse and prevent disease. Western countries are following the communist model of 'Do as you're told' rather than the 'What do you want?' of some liberal nations. I had radiation 17 times. I didn't need chemo. After the 15th radiation treatment, I went into respiratory arrest. All my doctors said radiation doesn't cause that. At the same time I went on Letrozole, a hormone blocker. I broke out in itchy dots over every place on my body the radiation affected. The dots were red spots irregular in shape. Became very itchy and became perfect circular dots that peeled, turned tan, then faded. My hands began openening up with paper cut like openings. My fingers my hand, my palms, looked like knife suits. "Working Hands" by O'Keefe's was my cure for that! The pattern on my body was where the radiation touched my skin! They told me the laser is very thin and precise, however it affected my entire breast and swept across my chest as if I laid out in the sun on a windy day! Swept across to the other breast covering only the inner side (cleavage area). Use common sense when listening to the doctors. They're expecting only the textbook explanations are possible. Common sense will save your life. The radiation caused pneumonia, sending me into respiratory arrest. Beware of being extremely tired. They will tell you it's normal but it isn't for doing only radiation

There is a derivitive of Broccoli DIM, that is a hormone blocker you can buy OTC. It worked for me because my Estrogen level was very high for a woman past menapause, and I took it every day and 30days later my level was normal. I had chemo and radiation treatments for breast cancer 30 some years ago. Since then, I’ve had 3 failed rotator cuff operations, both shoulders and both knees replaced. I recently read an article about cancer treatments and the professional people who provide them. Out of 75 oncologists who were interviewed only about 20 of them said they would actually undergo the treatments that they recommend to their patients. They recommend them because that's all they have to offer, but the majority wouldn't be willing to take themselves. I found that astounding. They really don't ever want to find a " cure". How would they get paid if everyone was cured? It's so frustrating to be sick and not having any treatments that will work, and most times those treatments really take away any quality of life.

I think one must really investigate many treatments / therapy before consenting to any treatments. Be wary of chemo and radiation. Don't be pressured into it especially right after diagnosis when you are vulnerable. You must look at the success rates with the treatment as well as the adverse effects.

I think chemotherapy is a personal choice! I, for one, feel that if I hadn't taken it, I wouldn't be here today! I'm 61 and going for round number 5 battling this horrible disease 🥊🥊 but I will continue to use these treatments if it means saving my life!!!
