Sir, as per my personal openion, 1. AMU was established in 1875 by sayyad ahemad khan for upliftment of muslim pepole (in the name of deprived, in undivided india) and in 1975 there was no any reservation for minorities and others pepole, so the must deserve minimum one institute for muslims. 2. But after independent, india adopted his constitution in 1950 with detailed reservation policy for minorities (including indian muslims, SC,ST and other deprived pepoles), 3. So the situation of minorities frome 1875 to 1950 is totally diffrent in present era 2024. I think Honarable SC should reconsider this point also for deciding any institution is minorty or not.
