Interesting fact: there are 44 rivers with in Kerala that originates from western ghats and drains in Arabian Sea (except Kabani that flows eastward). That means you will cross 43 rivers when you travel 600km from South to north of Kerala, ie; 1 river per each 15km. I am not counting backwaters 😀

The largest tributary of Godavari is Wainganga originated from Balaghat district of MP and marg with Godavari in AP border this river consist more than 50% water on Godavari
