Biggest mistake I have seen, and guilty of it myself as well in the past, is that a lot of guys view romance as trying to sell themselves, show their good parts (sometimes fake even) while hiding their bad parts in order to 'convince' the woman. It ends in a bad way most of the time. Instead its better to view it as a dance or a ritual, free of inhibitions, fears and even the world itself, where rather than convincing the other person, you just try to live in the moment with them, have a fun time and genuinely live it. If they reciprocate, good for you, if they don't, well hey, at least you have a great story with you now

@@StylePoints14 yes exactly and the looks threshold isn't as high as a model or an actor. I think that as long as you work out, do basic skin care and hygenie, eat and drink healthy, take care of yourself, and just the basic stuff (which your body will also be grateful for), along with basic sense of style and clothing, you can clear the looks requirements for most if not all women. And these things should be done regardless because of how neccersary they are for life

Yep. That’s the key to it-gotta let go of the expectations and know yourself and let others feel free to be themselves, and the people who like you for you stick around. But I do think some people are so out-of-touch, sometimes not even by their own doing but by circumstance or whatever-that having pointers or little nuggets of wisdom to remember to orient themselves socially can be helpful. Cuz again, at times, to get someone moving in the first place-someone who has no idea where to start or how to conceptualize social dynamics-sometimes it’s good to have some knowledge of the generalities and loose “rules” of things go by, and keep them in your back pocket-you can always break those “rules” (and I’m using that rule loosely, as there will be so much variance individual to individual, circumstance to circumstance) by choice; but when you have no idea why you’re potentially getting negative (or nonexistent) reactions to you “being yourself”, it can lead to damaging assumptions and beliefs. At the end of the day though, I do think what you’re saying matters the most. That’s how you bond with any human being. Like that Alan watts quote-“life is not a journey, it’s a dance”.

Exactly, this is the first video I watch where a man is actually pointing out how women are with average looking guys and even guys who are kinda ugly for them. We know it's like that most of the times. And still the world is full of incels trying to lower women's standards to be with guys who are just disgusting in their personalities, misogynistic trash, literally the opposite of what a woman would want.....

My best tips that I've learned through the years: - It's not about getting with every girl or getting with the hottest girl, it's about finding out who YOU like and who you actually MATCH with. Mutual attraction is much more important than hotness. - It's about having fun and being in the moment. If you have a (hidden) agenda you will become more stiff. Try to have fun, try to be present, and you will be the party - Own your desires - don't be afraid to take initiative but also take care of your own emotional needs so that you don't become angry with a woman for not recipricating. - Touch and laughter are 'base zero'. If you meet her, give her a high five or a hug or whatever. If you say goodbye, same. If you both laugh, make a little phisical contact. If you practice this skill (it will be awkward at first. Do it with your male friends as well to get comfortable with it, and with girls that are just friends if you have any). - Just say hi as soon as you see her, even if you don't know her. That's how you meet people. Do not wait longer than 3 seconds. Just say hi. Go.

If you go to a city square, you'll see average guy with a nice girl, but seeing a short guy with a tall girl is extremely rare, while seeing tall guys with short girls is common. When being short, you have to compensate a lot with other traits to be seen as attractive. No one said that life is fair, but it's just tiring. Edit: some people ask me for my height. It's 168 cm. Most girls are my height or a bit taller.

It's natural selection, just because it upsets you doesn't entitle you change mother nature. Short guys exist because those traits were passed on during times of overall low average height in the middle-ages or due to less than consensual sex during periods of war. Now that women have choice and can be selective, they will.

ironically what I found is the most simple way to be more attractive is attempting to think and see the perspective of a woman's mind and incorporating it into your own life as a man. I think we are too focused on characteristics and forgot about the importance of genuine understanding and being comfortable around someone. The looks and demeanor of a person is just for the attention getting but what truly matters is the type of person you are and how you treat someone. In a way the best thing to do is stop trusting in a "method" and to just be as genuine as possible and spread that honesty and positivity in a way that will inspire others to drop the persona they put up and open up more to you. Don't try to "act" and just be your lovable true self and you'll find more meaningful connections along the way, even if they won't come as easily

I always thought my girl was out of my league. My gf is very beautiful and Im an average looking dude. Back when we were just friends, I had a huge crush on her but I gave up on the idea of ever asking her out rather quickly, because I didn't want to make her uncomfortable by declaring myself and possibly ruin our friendship as a result. And I also thought that she would never find me attractive because I knew what her type was and I didn't fit anywhere close to it. I have enough self-awareness so I didn't start acting differently and just continued our friendship normally like always. I didn't "simp" for her or started to act "nice" to her for the sole reason that she might give me a chance someday if I did. Some time later we got closer and our friendship deepend and eventually we fell in love with each other. Even when we first got together I still had that deep insecurity in myself because I didn't fit in any category of her type. In my mind, I always thought that she just got together with me because I treated her right and Im somewhat funny. That she's just settling for me...I didn't really care because I was determined to just enjoy every second of the time I got to spend with her. I never voiced my insecure thoughts to her and I just brushed off any compliment with a self deprecating joke and moved on. But then she started pointing out what she found attractive of me and I made the effort to actually listen and take it all in. And then something clicked in me.... She said that I'm socially confident, funny, kind, mature, considerate, a great listener and that I also give great advice. Also, that I'm easy going and relaxed but at the same time passionate about my interests. She even mentioned the way that I dressed. When she got to the physical aspects, she mentioned that I had very nice arms, eyes and jawline. And that was at the very end. To her, that was the least important thing about what she liked about me. Us men tend to think that women want partners that are good to look at and will also make them look good as a unit. Or that they look for a man with a high status and even higher income. Sure there are very vain people out there just like that. Specially through out social media. But most women just want to be with someone that will make them feel good about themselves. Someone that will offer a deep emotional connection and not a surface level thing like "they're just hot". Yes, physical attraction plays a big part about liking someone but it's not the crutch of a relationship.

Women want men that aren't "too much" or "too little" on every aspect. They want someone athletic, but not too muscular or with too low body fat. Most of them like a tall man, but not like 6'6 or over. They want someone funny, but not someone who always makes jokes, someone sensitive, but not too sensitive, someone that takes care of himself, but not too much, otherwise he would be too feminine. Also too masculine isn't ideal, most women would prefer a normal dude over someone with shaved head, long beard, a lot of body hair and huge muscles. The only thing that a man can have as too much and still be attractive is money.

I’ve noticed something about the story driven. Show girls an attractive guy and say “he thinks he’s the most attractive person ever. What do you think?” They’ll say ew he’s a 1. But if you say “this guy so self conscious about his looks because his family calls him the ugly one”? They’ll all be like “wow no he’s gorgeous he shouldn’t listen to them!” It’s all about the story that gets auto generated in their head BASED off the guys looks rather than the literal look of them. Once you realize this, you won’t go back. For a guy, it would be like “she’s a terrible person but she’s still objectively hot” Or “She’s a really nice person and she’s hot” lol

Today im 30 and i know 100% he was right, the build women get aroused by is the thin just slightly muscular type, imagine like a bush man, if you go to africa and see them they are athletic looking, thats what women are biologically aroused by, this modern style gym build is not as attractive as guys think, its pleasing to the male gaze only.

"Female gaze is story driven.", "women don't view male attractiveness as a purely physical equation." Meanwhile, the vast majority of men on the cover of romance novels, female gazed videos, etc, are attractive men. Even the men shown at 0:33 to show what the female gaze is are still facially attractive. The reason why men, when they go to any busy downtown square, see "average girls with average guys" is because men don't know how to rate other men's looks. The average man will probably think a pretty boy is less attractive compared to giga-Chad. So, yes, the female gaze is mostly about looks, but what men think is physically attractive to women is different to what women actually find physically attractive. Additionally, the whole confidence, mysteriousness, charisma, etc, is mostly cope. These things are most often tied to looks. The better looking you are the more likely you will be perceived with having these qualities. Good looking people are literally perceived to be kinder, nicer, less violent, more outgoing and overall better people. 0:29 - "What women are attracted to has huge variance. What guys try to do is distil it down to a science": Just because women have variance in what they find attractive, doesn't mean you can't distil looks to a science. Looks are both objective and subjective. Certain features are seen as good looking/more desirable like jawline, cheekbones, eye shape, hair type. The men women often do find attractive will still be physically good looking and possess features that are seen as scientifically desirable. Some may prefer pretty boys over more masculine types. Some may prefer a man with a mix of feminine and masculine features. But they're still going to be physically good looking. Babies can even tell who is or isn't good looking. People, on average, can tell who is or isn't good looking. Using Pete Davidson as an example of the female gaze being like playdough isn't a good one either. Pete Davidson is above average in looks, tall, and lean. You also mention how you only need to be a few inches taller than the women. Well, according to surveys women are most often happiest when their husband/boyfriend is much taller than her. Search: "The key to a happy marriage? A tall husband: Couples with the biggest height differences found to have best relationships." Also, taller men have had the most reproductive success throughout history. Additionally, when it comes to "bad boys". Women like them because the one's that exhibit these "bad boy" traits are physically attractive. Literal studies showed that when looks were held constant, dark triad traits didn't make a man more attractive.

But this guy in the video, and other women describing the female gaze deem it as not really looks driven, it's driven by other factors just as much, if not more. When in reality, when the examples of female gaze is used, it's 90-95% of the times good looking men. The male and the female gaze is 90% looks driven, it's just that women don't care as much about alpha masculinity, stoic manly man as much as men do.

One thing I noticed is that a lot of times the " female gaze" is a bit of performative activism with attractiveness. Especially with regards to women I know personally and reading comments sections. A lot of times women will exaggerate the attractiveness of someone because it makes them comparatively feel more attractive, and because they like to patronize as a form of kindness. On one of these posts I'd seen girls claim Henry Cavill wasn't handsome, and gas up someone with a comically large hooked nose as hot. They do this, yet the people I meet with said features irl struggle with dating. It's a paradox a bit. Also, it is true that the physique may not be what women are seeking, but if you believe for any second those men are not probably vastly mogging average joes in sexual partners you're lying to yourselves. Also, many of those kpop stars are actually ripped under their clothes. Seen many posts thirsting over Jungkook's physique etc. They're not average guys. There's also data that suggests the rise of birth control actually leads women to be attracted to more feminine features. (Sounds strange but look into it). Men DO tend to misconstrue what women like. My friends who are males tend to think Michael B Jordan is ugly or average, but he's seen as a sex symbol to women. Variance is indeed true. You also didn't mention one of the reasons artists and athletes have been loved by women is the concept of hypergamy.
@zeriel9148
@zeriel9148 5 ай бұрын
Yeah that's an important thing to understand. Largely, men give compliments because they really believe them unless they are transparently just superficial things like "nice haircut". But women constantly give out compliments to each other as social lubrication. A compliment from a woman is totally different than from a man. This is one of the hardest things for men and women to understand about each other I think, men say what they mean and women often don't. I don't mean this in a negative way, it's just a fact of life. It's also (imo) the source of the whole disconnect when women want to talk about their issues and just have the man listen and agree with them, whereas men when they hear someone in trouble want to offer fixes and solutions, we are direct and solution-oriented which drives women crazy when it feels like they are not getting any validation but just suggestions about how they are doing things wrong.

The issue is..... the kind of female you attract depends on what environment you wander in.... You go to MIT you're gonna attract study focused woman. You go to Gym you're gonna attract muscular betches. (Which most certainly gonna hop on another dudes dick within 7months) You go to music class and you're good at it, you will attract a piano head. So basically _AS A MAN_ the grinding never stops and you have to be at the top at whatever you do to attract your dream woman. _But a real queen is the one who has no hidden motives, or planned agendas to be with you.... I say buck the trend, and start talking to women in your circles, like maybe at your job or the gym or whatever. It doesn't even have to be about dating. Just normal small talk to make women feel less intimidating.

i’ve never met someone on a dating app. they’re always in school or work. or old crushes that hit me up after years without seeing each other. don’t worry, you don’t need a dating app. just be nice and funny and eventually a woman will fall in love with you. the person i loved most out of all my exes was, i’ll admit, not physically attractive. but i actually thought he was the most beautiful person to exist, because of the way he made me feel. the female gaze being like playdoh is the most accurate way i’ve heard it described.

I secretly believe most if not all women love a guy who will do anything for something he finds right in his heart, either morally or spiritually. Be wise but never stop being fun. I've become so high alert that it's hard showing the more fun part of myself to people I don't know that well that also has my interest. The truth is I need a balance of all emotions and willingness to succeed at different things to feel more satisfied, I'm sure some of you can agree with your own life.

Younger women value "being fun" because they live their life on recruit difficulty. So, being fun works out for them, at least in their 20s. So, they think they are innately superior to men who are actually taking their life seriously and building towards something. So, they find men who are like them "living in the moment" and wasting their own life like them(girls). After passing 30, the older they get, the more reasonable they become, as they watch their male attention, options, free dinners and life prospects dwindling. At that point the good guys are soulless corporate sharks, the women are barren and emotionally drained and the fun guys are broke and directionless in life. Modernity sure has created a dysfunctional society by rewarding recklessness and punishing productivity. As for me, I am in the same boat. I now instinctively do cost benefit analysis on almost all things I do. Doing stereotypically fun things and chasing girls never makes sense that way. The juice is not worth the squeeze.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 👁️ Focus on the female gaze when aiming to be attractive to women, as their preferences vary widely and are not purely physical. 03:17 💪 Confidence, security, self-validation, and mystery play significant roles in attracting women. Physical attractiveness alone doesn't define how appealing you are. 05:17 📏 Height, income, and status preferences are relative, not absolute. Being slightly taller and having a somewhat higher income than a woman can be appealing. 06:38 🍔 Embrace your niche and unique traits instead of trying to appeal universally. Find your own unique attractiveness in a crowded world of dating. 08:16 🦸 Traits like confidence, social skills, setting boundaries, and standing up for oneself attract women, not necessarily the "bad boy" label itself. Boys, I'm gonna admit if she doesn't find you physically attractive, it really doesn't matter how confident, funny or smart you are. She's not going to stick around the find out. All the women who found me attractive I have made terrible jokes, acted like an idiot and was shy around with zero changes to their attraction, where as women I was confident with didn't care about me at all. I'd wager 80-90% of your attractiveness to women is purely looks. No personality required because if a girl is into you from the start, she will ignore or look past your personal faults.

Precisely. What people find attractive is mostly looks. All this other stuff like charisma, game, mysteriousness, etc, is mostly tied to looks. There are some things overlooked in blackpill community. Mystery, games are real things even though they're tied to looks they are seprate from looks too. The thing is that these mysterious guys with good games have high iq, which is genetic. If an ugly guy is high iq it's not attractive but if an attractive guy is high iq he gets a tremendous boost in his smv. Suppose if chico has 160 iq, he would have been way more popular among girls, however no girls care about a bald fat scientist with 160 iq🤷‍♂️

@@pushapraj2819 I don't think the blackpill overlooks these aspects. The blackpillers I've come across take these things into consideration. @@skate3635You've shown a clear misunderstanding of the topic. So YOU like people that you see as outgoing risktakers, men who value their lives based on the excitement and satisfaction they can generate based on their own enjoyment/helping others. Which isn't a bad thing, they are relatively good qualities for the most part. But military/firemen/bikers don't have one body type or personality type, so saying "women are attracted to xyz" isn't correct. I'm a slim, hard working, determined guy, I can't grow much facial hair but I have strong masculine features but I have large (potentially feminine in some people's view) eyes. I manage a shop and work in the customer service sector and care about people, I care about animals and care about others, but I am by no means a buff risk taking guy who will do anything for an adrenaline rush. But I am extroverted, confident and social. I get plenty of attention based on how I approach people/hold myself. People are attracted to different things, but aesthetics are borderline irrelevant. A woman I am seeing at the moment was in a 5 year relationship with an extremely jacked dude that spoke her native language as he is the same ethnicity. Yet I am a white british male who is slim (slightly toned) but I have infinitely more confidence than he had, I am more outgoing and I am not self conscious in any way. So by your logic, she should not find me attractive as her typical type was the polar opposite of myself. In short.. "types" are bad. "types" are based on lust for a superficial ideal and not anything with substance.
