I kissed a girl, held a girls hand and lost my virginity last year at the age of 25. Now I have a GF. I started working out, taking care of myself and getting a better style. I'm not obsessive about any of those things. I'm still a little chubby and most of my clothes are from Walmart. But still, just doing these simple things will help you stand out so much from the crowd of guys who do next to nothing to improve themselves. I went on my first date at the age of 25. I was so scared and nervous, but after each date I got a little better. Just bite the bullet, man up and start talking to people. You will be surprised how quickly you will come out of your shell.

I completely disagree with the dating app part - they're literally like porn - people only going on them for attention and dopamine/ causal sex, and even without doing so, it's a massive gamification of dating, searching for the most physically attractive man possible. Social media is precisely what has ruined dating.

Remember guys, the golden rule is to focus on yourself, work on improving yourself and once you have done that stay humble and find the partner you have worked for. I believe people miss the point when someone says "join a yoga class". It's not about asking out every girl in the said class, it's about improving your social skills and experience. Let's say you join a cooking class, you meet some like minded people, some men, some women, some you're attracted to, some you're not. Maybe you make friends with a couple of them over shared interest in cooking. Even if you can't score dates with any of them, maybe they set you up with someone. Maybe they introduce you to their friend group and one of them sets you up with someone. You collect social xp and unlock skillpoints like empathy, listening, humor, being fun, being a good friend etc. And you get to know a lot of people, build somewhat of a social network and go from there. Anyway, I'm just a socially awkward 19 year old dude lol so take this with a huge sack of salt. Anyway, the rest of the video is spot on!

I heavily disagree on the suggestion of having to use social media and how it's foolish to approach, I completely disagree. That is literally how it has always been since the beginning of time and men have gotten so much from it besides just women. You gain confidence, charisma, the ability to converse, natural game, you even pick up your own swag. And dating apps are the worst, they're literally rigged from the start. Only 10-20% of tinder users are women, the game is already rigged and most guys that are decent looking get their confidence crushed

dont be obsessive. first thing above all else is to focus on being the best version of yourself that you can be- whether that's going to the gym, improving your style, maintaining a career path and be a desirable man when you look in the mirror. a girlfriend should be your best friend, someone you can look to for emotional support at all times. no ones perfect, but that admiring even thoughout all those imperfections is what love truly is.

The main personality trait they're attracted to is confidence. You can build confidence by having success. If you have a success, even if it's a small one like getting your job done, take your time to enjoy it, that's gonna build up your confidence.

a few things i learned while going through this ongoing journey is that - if you make a girl your motivation for getting up in the morning, you won't have one when you potentially lose them - don't "look" for a girlfriend, improve and focus on yourself and if you happen to find someone attractive, go for it - to have a healthy relationship you need to be your own person, not dedicating all of yourself and therefore changing yourself for the worst just for this specific persson - when you think you find a girl attractive, you need to seriously consider if you're attracted to them, or you're attracted to the attention they give you

This is gonna be really long, but if you're watching this video, I was one of you for years and incredibly depressed. Please read if you have the time. I know people don't give a shit, but I'm 33 and married now. My 20s were a hellscape of depression anxiety and loneliness. When I was 19 the "red pill" didn't have a name yet, but lots of guys thought this way. Myself included. The resentment I felt towards "stupid jocks" and girls over having values I thought were shitty and vapid (let's be real, they were) eventually turned to self-resentment when I realized that everyone else, including people that weren't "chads" where dating and marrying and starting to build good lives. This began a decade or so long process of really looking inward and struggling to unlearn all of the horrible toxic ideas I grew up with in the 90s and 2000s. And it hurt. One thing I realized is that when I used to think the thought "girls only like chads" what I'm really thinking is "a certain type of girl that looks a certain way, who makes me look alpha to others just by being near her, only likes chads". There were a lot of girls who were maybe a little awkward or maybe had a body type different than I thought was good that showed real interest that I didn't even acknowledge as "women" in my mind. That's so fucked up! And the most attractive people? A lot of times they are the least interesting, because when you never have to solve any problems or learn from your failures you never grow! It's okay to have tastes or preferences, but I feel like for most men, they're just afraid of what others will say or think about them if they date certain people versus others. They don't add enough "value" to them so unless a woman falls into some idealized version, they're basically invisible. If you're a virgin and struggling with this, how do you know you wouldn't like getting physical with someone bigger than you if you've never been physical with anyone? Ultimately I had to learn that my life was for me and I had to do things for my sake. I acknowledge the opportunities I had, but the trick is taking them. I'm blessed with being tall, but I'm neurodivergent as all shit. None of the shit I cared about, my peers cared about. I was a dork. I got the shit kicked out of me daily. In the 3rd grade a kid smashed my face in with his arm cast while a gang of others stayed an helped enable it. Then my not rich parents got me in to a church school for cheap cuz my dad played the organ. It was worse. Kids threw dog treats at me. I used to weigh 250 lbs. I had anger issues. I was forced to go to counseling outside of school. I didn't graduate. I got a 1.8 GPA and a GED. Shit sucked, but at one point I met a guy who worked out and knew what was up. He helped me lose 80 lbs. It took over a year of working out 4 days a week regularly. It was fun and something I did with my friend. I won't get in to everything, but growth feels good. Period. To me growth is the single most fulfilling human experience one can easily attain. Even something stupid like learning the harmonica is great. It's a simple, cheap instrument, with an endless wormhole of experimentation and technique to learn. The bonus? It's part of a communal hobby that thrives on groups. Picture this: you go to a bar and some blues band is playing. You bust out a harmonica from nowhere and start riffing cuz youve been practicing for 2 years and the universe has given you your moment? You're the coolest guy there! There's a catch. You don't wanna be the "harmonica" guy. You need to have a wide and diverse set of skills and interests. Not only because that's what it means to be an interesting person, but because of the power, experience, opportunity it gives you in the real world. Not to mention getting good at shit is just plain fun and rewarding. When I was 18 was a dropout who was okay ish at music. I was a fat goth kid with backne bad style bad hygiene and no skills outside of xbox and 4chan posting. Now Im 2.5 of 5 years through a union trade school, play in a couple working bands, I speak passable Spanish (useful at work sometimes) I have an eclectic taste in media, I can game with the best of em, I can work on computers and electronics, I could build a house from the ground up. I'm not special, I'm talking 10+ years of actively saying "fuck it why not" to whatever opportunity outside of my comfort zone that wasn't intolerable. And here's where I'll disagree with the creator. Given the above, I understand why you say porn is harmful, but I think it can be a healthy outlet. There were times in my life I was so depressed that it was the only thing that felt good. Other times I was so depressed I couldn't bring myself to take care of myself like that. But as long as you're mature enough to realize that these are human beings playing a role (THIS INCLUDES ONLY FANS) you know, someone's sister, aunt, mother, daughter, taking advantage of a lucrative market in a shitty economy. The other thing I disagree with is the emphasis on online dating and social media. That shit warps your brain. Those apps are built to get you to feel isolated and milk money out of vulnerable people. Example from one tinder date. I had The girl was a single mom, unemployed, cute but not a model, and not very interesting because all her time was devoted to her kid. She showed me her inbox. She had 4000 likes to my 8 or so. If you really wanna meet more people, volunteering is great. There are all kinds of mutual aid groups and the like where good people who want to help can go do good work. But like the creator says, you have to be there for you cuz they will smell your intent from a mile away. But you'll make friends who care about making sure the people in their community are taken care of. If you've made it this far, grats! I'll tell you the single most life changing choice I made. IF YOU ARENT IN COLLEGE, GET IN TO A UNION TRADE APPRENTICESHIP. Above average pay, and you get paid the whole time you're learning. It will enable you to never need a job interview again. You can work in any state in the country. You get health insurance that you dont pay in to. Pensions, etc. The skills you learn are invaluable and the foundation of many others I have.

One thing to add: the standards these guys set are fucked up too. Because I was so heavy, I have some visible abs, but it doesn't even matter cuz I had so much belly stretching that I look like I was pregnant once. That will never go away. But the older you get the more people care about like how clean you are vs what your scars look like

A appreciate this so much dude. I'm 19 and I'm in college now. I'm doing ok, but I just constantly feel this weird emptiness that is somehow slowly but surely getting worse. Two things I hate that people say are 1. "You shouldn't date while studying, because this can ruin your career etc." 2."A gf won't solve your problems, and she's probably not looking for a guy with problems in the first place". I can agree with these things but like how would anyone know what kind of issues I have? What if meeting a girl that shares my interests and cares about me is just enough to make me feel like myself again? I'm just struggling at this point

@jasonkolchek6936 the general standards of success people have are largely bullshit. Everyone knows this one some level which is why it's so easy to make fun of nickelback. Some of the most "mature" people I know are also the worst people. The point is it's all bullshit. We're literally fuckin apes. You gonna let what some ape thinks affect doing things that are good for you? And do it at your own pace too! At 19 you have time to learn and quit 2 whole careers before it starts getting a bit late to start over (but it never really is) Unless someone is like "yes I am a doctor of intimacy here are 170 peer reviewed double blind studies on relationships and happiness" then maybe take their advice seriously.

There is one quote I do remember "If you were a girl, with all the choices she has.. would you choose you?" It stands true no matter what, because realistically there needs to be a reason why you of all people deserve her

If you really wanna stand out then hopping on a dating app ain't gonna cut it. Most girls don't even get approached these days, even I rarely do it but I'm trying to improve there. I was in a club yesterday and I noticed that there were plenty of girls and a lot of guys who just DIDN'T approach them. There is so much opportunity for us guys but we refuse to act and that is why we watch these vids 🙄

I feel like the answer is obvious, but I broke up with my ex a while ago, about a year or so ago, but I still think about her from time to time. I’m definitely in a better place mentally than before, but the thoughts sometimes creep in. Should I still put myself out there?

Idk if this is the best advice, but maybe it’ll help moving on from her if you find someone else to think abt yk? Either you stay stuck on your ex, or just come to terms w it how it is and move forward anyways

100% disagree on only meeting through social media and dating apps. Approaching in public is a great way to step out of your comfort zone, gain confidence, and increase your social skills. You don’t even necessarily have to go out of your way, if you see someone you like at a coffee shop just talk to them and try and plan a date if you vibe.
@bradfordparker6639

If you see someone that you like at a coffee shop or anyplace else, assuming that you like healthy women, they are unavailable. Years of thousands of such meetings and always even at first if they seem unattached , they always have a child, a boyfriend, a spouse and or a large diamond. Usually I just look down at the hand, whenever I see an interesting girl/ woman and there it is. Can't t even try- there is no point.
