When i got rejected almost a year ago, i started to self improve, but in a toxic way (at the time i was brainwashed by Hamza). These first few months of self improvement were good for me, but also bad in a way. On one hand, it helped me heal from not just my crush, but also the feelings of loneliness and insecurities i used to have for quite a while. On the other hand, i was trying too hard to escape myself, and it ended up almost costing my relationships. The verdict for you, is that self improvement can be really helpful to deal with a rejection or breakup, but remember to not scold yourself for that rejection. You were just not the right fit, and someday someone will love you. Just don't forget to set goals, and strive to achieve them.

as a woman, this has happened to me before also. i would find a boy from a movie or a show and then make him my background on my computer and spend hours watching interviews of him and stuff. and i would get that obsession type feeling with guys i knew in real life too. but its not healthy to do that especially when you want to seriously date someone. when you automatically put them on a pedestal, you gain this mindset that you can’t live without them. that’s what happened in my first relationship, i talked to him online and i never had a guy really be interested in me so i like threw myself at his feet when i met him. but i also put up with his abusive behavior towards me and that damaged my mental health a lot. so for men and women, don’t rush to idolize the person you are dating or have a crush on because you don’t really know how someone is until you’ve spent actual time with them in real life and be weary of people’s intentions

@@felipecastro6544 Yeah, the worst part is seeing other guys your age have what you wish you could have, friends, a nice girl, a decent job, a good physique, a social standing etc... then it sinks in that you're invisible, that no one even sees you, you start to feel like you're unworthy of being loved, like you'll never feel that warmth you crave so much. i lied it has been months now and i just can't handle it, she loved me and now she just want my attention. It was the first fcking time a was falling in love in 18 years of existence, she never loved me actually, she just loved my popularity and the feelings that i still have for her. It's the end of highschool for me now so my friends think that it's good because this way i will never have to see her again, and now i have to tell myself that i missed my chance with the girl of my life and i will never know precisely why.

@@gokuintheair5549I couldn’t possibly tell you what you should be doing, hell I am on the same track as you, we both clicked on this video with different reasons, maybe you are an active watcher or occasional, maybe it just popped up in your recommendations, I don‘t know. Yet we both headed into this with curiosity what to except, if it might help out and what this person could possibly say to actually help. I am as clueless as you on that matter, so listen to this hypocrites advice who probably has barely any experience compared to you: To my understanding it appears to be one sided and honestly this sounds reason enough to cut this relationship off. The fact that you won‘t see here is something, I can attest personally as well, something that will help overtime and it might be just the thing to fill that black hole inside your heart. Realistically speaking, it will reduce in size but it will remain, nights or days were you think about her or your relationship, your mistakes and attempts. Everything will come flooding down on you and if you are not prepared, it will be weigh you down heavily, not that you can prepare properly anyway. But it‘s a beginning, the first step to realizing that what happened, happend and a crucial realization of self acceptance. That being said, hearing or reading these words mean absolutely nothing if you think about it. If it would, fixing your mental health would be an easy task but alas it isn‘t. We can listen and understand logically, and hopefully someday experience and just understand. Good luck going forth, you will need it.

Brother, just hear me out. I had the EXACTLY same situation as you 2-3 months ago with a girl, she had basically all the traits possible with minor inconveniences but I was hooked. I was having the best ever conversations with this girl, no matter the place and she was also interested in having a conversation with me. By just pure coincidence, I met her during the holiday and we both continued on the tradition on going from house to house in the whole village. The conversation was going very well like everytime, but then we touch a more sensitive subject (at least for me) and that is the relationship status or just relationships. She tells me after that she has a boyfriend for already 5 months and then, in the back of my mind, I've just realised that from her perspective, I was just one of her good friends to hang out with or chat and nothing more. Thanks to this all the rest of days left from the holidays vacation were shit. Just shit. I couldn't focus, I couldn't control myself sometimes and I fell deep into a depression. Then I've met your channel. Your first video that I have, I remember even now, was the one called "If you are 13 to 18 years old, please watch this" and I was like "Ok, why not?" I am grateful that I have watched that video because that motivated me to do more, to idk watch more motivational shit. Thanks to you I now succesfully quitted porn and I got a new record of semen retention of 10 days, which I couldn't believe I would ever get. Now I am trying to go for a full month, no matter the urges nor the previous fail, I am continuing no matter what. Ok, I am deviating a little from the subject. Now I have gotten over that girl completely in around 2 months of time, consisting in depression and self Improvement, and I just found another one that has exactly all the traits possible. Unlike the other girl that I was hooked to, I know in the back of my mind that she isn't fake or using other for her own benefits, and it is a real enjoyment to talk to her. Now, again, hear me out, I know I may be a little less than 17 and she is 18 (I think) but believe me when I say that I have never met a girl like her before, and I really mean it, she is a real rare one, like 1 in a billion. Where I live, all the girls are the real jerks of the society and they use other men like me for their benefits or to get attention. These girls are simply bitches, and more and more are following this path as the time passes itself. Again, I know I may be not fully ready for this and I am SCARED. I am gonna be honest I am fucking scared my guy. I am trying my HARDEST to become a better person, whilst trying to be the best version of myself when this girl comes around. She is also pretty hooked I think, and this time, I promise, I know that she is also single because I, myself, asked her and she was honest. Maybe this is a whole ass book for you to read, but the only thing that I want from you is to at least try and understand this message from me and advice me on how to put my energy levels on the right path, this is the only thing that I want right now. Again, I don't have a porn addiction, or fapping addiction anymore, I am constantly improving myself and all of this thanks to you and your advices, thank you! Please advice me on what to do next cause I don't really fucking know Edit: She was a bitch, I made a mistake

Holy crap that's so relatable! People are always like "you gotta have standards bro, you can't just go around being in love with whatever girl happens to catch your eye or show a shred of interest in you." And I'm thinking something like "I need to have higher standards? Meaning I need to narrow down my options? Alright, let's see how many girls are available and interested in me right now... zero! So I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I _don't_ need to narrow down my options." **Disclaimer: I definitely do understand it's important to have standards with dating, and I do have standards; it's just that where I am right now there happen to be a whole ton of girls who meet those standards. But none of them are very interested in me, so for now I'm content to not tighten my standards.

Today, I encounter this video and clicked on it to see if you comitted the same mistake (glad you didn't) or learn something while kind of out of context. PLEASE READ JAK! Jak, I just started crushing on a girl in my class and I really want to be with her. I can tell with the glow in her eyes she has a crush on me, heck one of our mutual friends told me she said she has a crush on me. But as a guy who is going through his final year of IGCSE exams I know I need to become a stronger man. Every single day at school she is always flirting indirectly, the way she smiled when the teacher said we had to share a book together, the way we looks at me while taking to her friends and I see they are taking about me. I really do not want the responsibilities of a girlfriend and I do not think I can handle school and this at the same time. This is the only girl ever in my life who likes me, and I do not want to say no to this relationship. I do not know if I should share all of this on KZbin, fuck it I do not care.
