I love your vlog because it's not all "look what I can do because I'm an amazing climber " it's "here's what I'm doing and I want you to come along".

I´ve been watching your vlogs from day one and have to say that they´re getting better and better. You always do your best to make an entertaining vlog and you seem to be a really funny and humble guy. Keep it up. May your channel grow bigger and bigger!!

I really enjoy the voice over, while you're climbing. It gives me some insight on how good the grips are and everything. I would have needed this in every climbing video I have ever seen. Also, you are doing it the best way I have seen, so far. It seems, for some reason, that you are able to see things from the perspective of a "not so good climber". Tank you!

Thanks for another great vlog! I've really enjoyed watching the climbs with the voiceover; it's more engaging and highlights what actually makes the route harder or easier.

This channel may not be the most followed but the quality of content is amazing. You keep experimenting new ways of sharing your knowledge with everyone which is highly appreciated. You can tell by the relevance of the majority of the comments below that your community is curious and kindly, which adds value to it (and which is pretty rare on KZbin). Thank you and keep enjoying what you do !

I feared the weather was too chilly, but nonetheless Magnus delivers the skin. 3:59. Magnus, you may have been born mortal, but you quickly approach a divine rank. Keep the shirt off and there's no telling what powers you might unlock.

Damn that's funny. I'm from Finland and I used to play Slap! And I still do when drinking with friends. We call it "Läpsy" which is basically just the word "Slap" in Finnish. Funny to hear a random person from across the world also knows the same game.

I went back to watch this video because Im particularly interested in increasing my onsite performance and this video held some nice tricks. But if you would be into it you could probably do an entire episode on it inside, how to stack the odds in your favor. It would be appreciated. I though about your voice-over and realized you have not done this in a while. And I miss it. It’s maybe something you can do on top even if you let someone else cut and edit the episodes for you. I think the insights about what you think is what other climbers appreciate the most from you vlogs, even though watching you bouldering is entertaining sometimes it helps my climbing very little, except for realizing how shit Im at campusing by comparison. Thank you for your vlogs.

First of all thanks for the effort you put into this vlog. I am very curious about how many one arm pull ups you can do, not changing the arm. My max power seems to differ greatly. sometimes I do one armers easy and sometimes i barely do one, independent of the amount of food i ate. How is it with you?

How did fix the gopro when onsighting? Also, what do you do if you put draws in a route and then don't get that high again, does that happen?
@magmidt7 жыл бұрын
Good question. This time I actually had to climb the beginning one more time afterwards. That has never happened to me, I'm always able to climb between the draws. Otherwise I guess I would come back another day.
@aspzx7 жыл бұрын
As someone interested in filming climbing I was wondering the same thing! Did you climb the first 8b twice or 3 times? I would guess 1st go = onsight, 2nd go = place go pro and hit record, 3rd go = climb the beginning section?

In a day at the crag, how many routes do you tend to climb?
@magmidt7 жыл бұрын
I would say around 4-5, but that of course depends on the length and difficulty of the routes.

What kind of knot was he tying at 7:04 it didn't look like a typical figure 8 ?!?
@DBaltrus7 жыл бұрын
Bowline with stopper knot in loop.
@LukeRockCimber7 жыл бұрын
Do you know about the benefits of this vs figure 8
@DBaltrus7 жыл бұрын
Luke Daniel The most cited one is that it easy to undo even after load. So it will be easy to untie even after you have taken a couple big falls. The internet is full of debates and opinions on figure 8 vs bowline.
