Drivelapse video of Ontario's Highway 410 starting from Highway 10 in Caledon and heading southerly through Brampton, before transitioning onto the eastbound 401 and following the 427 southerly to the Gardiner and heading through Downtown Toronto.

I think Ontario or the GTA has one of the best road infrastructures in the world. I live in Michigan and it is absolutely the shitz. Dirty, old, no lights and railings, and crumbling. I miss Toronto alot. This spring I'm heading up. Great video as always.

I live in Toronto, so I am kind of biased, but I do think that the region has a really impressive network of freeways. That said, I kind of like Detroit's network as well, the new section of I-75 north of town is going to be great, as is I-94 once its rebuilt. Thanks for the comment and have a great trip in the spring.

@@AsphaltPlanet1 Thank you. The I 94 rebuild will probably be completed 10 years after the Ontario line reaches the Science Centre.

So happy to see a new video on Toronto! I've recently been interested in Toronto's Freeway System and I find it to be very fascinating! Especially the 401! I also noticed how there are still a lot of cars on the road, even during the pandemic! Great video!

Thanks, this was recorded when things were starting to ease during the first wave of the pandemic, but traffic was definitely still lighter than normal. Thanks for the comment.

Nice video! I miss the days when there was no traffic, fuel cost $0.80 per litre, and driving to work during peak hours was a breeze. I might have some video clips of the empty Gardiner Expwy in April 2020 when Toronto was a ghost town :O

Driving around as the pandemic eased was definitely a nice treat. Every time I am sitting in traffic on the 401 I miss the congestion free days of the pandemic. Thanks for the comment.

Despite the lack of Toronto in 2022, it's back for 2023 & I hope there will be a lot of videos from there, since it's one of the most viewed series in this channel! Having this back is definitely a good way my return to school after my Christmas break. The music choice in this video is truly amazing as well. I'm honestly curious to know if you plan to make a serie of another province or state in the future (Manitoba, Colorado, Oklahoma, etc.). Also, I would love to see another Toronto video from March 2020 in the future.

I released a couple of Toronto videos in 2022. There will be more videos from new areas on the channel in the coming months, and there will definitely be more videos from Toronto this year as well. Thanks for the comment.

I also noticed that Toronto's municipal expressways, including the Gardiner and the DVP, use the Clearview font on their newer signs. Ontario doesn't normally use Clearview, but many other Canadian provinces do (Québec, Alberta, and British Columbia all come to mind). As someone living in Texas, I'm used to seeing Clearview signage. Highway Gothic signage on Texas state-maintained highways are usually signs that date from 2004 or earlier, but there were some new Highway Gothic signs installed between 2016 and 2018 during a period when the Federal Highway Administration revoked their approval of Clearview.

Great drive! Was this filmed at the COVID-19 lockdown when it was height of the pandemic 2 years ago?

There were still pandemic restrictions when this video was filmed, yes.

How long did the entire trip take?
@joshuahamilton380

Usually the videos are sped up 4 times faster than they were filmed. So for this video, the trip took 33 minutes. However, this was filmed during the pandemic, when traffic was lighter, so this trip probably takes longer now.
