This is a short video I made in the Summer of '04 of the Ontario Midland Railroad. First are some switching moves in Sodus, NY at the Maple Street road crossing. The OMID is based in Sodus, and in the far distance in the opening scene is the engine house, with the door open. This track is part of the former New York Central's Hojack Line, which once ran from Pulaski, NY to the east and to Niagara Falls to the west.
At the very end of the video, we see Engine #3 (Alco S4) take the turn-out to the right and follow the ex-PRR Sodus Bay Secondary track to Newark, NY and interchange with CSX.
This video is a portion of my video, "Short Lines of Western and Central NY", which was filmed in 2004. The link to it is below, and can also be accessed on my channel.
