Take a closer look at the strap on your sheath. Usually those type sheaths let you pivot the retaining strap to the other side for right or left handed carry. I'd be surprised if Ontario didn't do that too. They're usually just riveted in with one rivet so that they can pivot to either side.

​@@tubes5150 I have 2 of those OKC MOLLE sheaths, one for my SP10, and one for my SP6. The guard strap swivels on both. My only beef with those sheaths, is that they don't actually need the guard strap. The horizontal strap at the end of the handle is good enough for retention.

The description said there was one screw missing on the handle, and there are blemishes on the blade. It was a steal at $53. I can get a new screw from ACE Hardware. I could use some help on removing blemishes, and polishing the blade. I know you do that quite a bit, because you don't like blued knife blades. Can you help me out with the products I need to remove the blemishes and polish the stainless steel?

Those blades that I had when I was younger seem to haunt me . Dads - mine - friends …. Boy ! What we know now !!!!!!! I still pray I never sold or traded a Lyle . The Buck 110 was my real first knife . Bought at the Army Navy store ( God I miss that store - I thought I would work there one day I spent sooo much time in there in the 70’s ). Might of even retired there haha . My favorite is the hardest question . I think it’s got to be my custom Aldo Bowie . Why ? When I first watched Inglorious Basterds , I was on a mission . Took like 3 or 4 long years to finally find a guy , who lives in the United States 🇺🇸, to make me one . He knocked it out of the park !! I think that was my very first custom made too . It’s a really hard question cause 9 others are running a close 2 Nd . The Pohl MK-8 & 9 blades ….. The Dundee Bowie ( s )…. The Jed Hornbeak MK-8 Custom …. My Buck 124 ….. The Frank Gonzales Marine Raider … The Cold Steel Trailmaster and Laredo …. The Espada …. Hibben Kenpo knives …. Yeah ! Definitely a Tuff question !! Haha haha

When I reviewed this for Ontario it had 5160 steel and a laminate handle scales .they had a problem with the scales so they must have updated them cool

I saw that the first run had a couple of problems with the finish had complaints about rusty areas forming on the blade. So they changed to a stainless blade and they say all good now ; And this is hear say and we know how far that can go. Your video was awesome and it showed just how tuff that tank is, I love this blade. I bet you saw some awesome blades when you did reviews for them. I bet that was cool.

I did forget to mention that in the video . I was a bit confused on the steel . You are Spot On !! This was made of 5160 at one time . I love 5160 !!!!!!! Some reviewers however do not . I wonder 💭 Did they receive a bad batch or something?? Were they not properly heat treated ?? All I know is - so far / I’m Really liking this knife . I got a feeling when I first saw this , it was 5160 . But I swore it was a Condor . I could not seem to locate . When Donavan sent me a pic , I just about fell out of my chair !! “ Yes !!!! Be Careful!! Want to hear how I almost went into cardiac arrest??? Lord !! I’m watching the grandkids one day - My 1 year old grandson was in the kitchen . My 3 year old granddaughter was with me in the living room . It was really quiet in the kitchen . I called my grandson and he was a little hesitant to respond. So I got up and started heading into the kitchen . All of a sudden , he came out of the kitchen and met me in the living room . All is good . 5 minutes later , I got up again to grab a coffee . I walk into the kitchen and lying on the floor is one big ass sharp Bowie knife - out of its sheath !!! I realized that my grandson had found it and decided to play with it briefly . He must of had it for at least 3 minutes . I just about had a stroke ! I go into the living room to check him for cuts or blood . Nothing !! Not a scratch !! God was definitely watching!! I don’t know how he got it ??? I keep all my knives - sharp objects up and away and out of reach . Someone must of been in here going thru my knives and left one out by mistake . I can’t believe he didn’t get cut . THAT COULD OF BEEN THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE !! When I think of what could of happened it makes me sick . Lesson learned ??? I guess so . I mean they are always put away and hidden - except for that one straggler !! Lesson is always double - triple - quadruple check my surroundings. I got lucky with that one !! I’m already a nervous wreck when it comes to my babies . Ever since that I’ve been 10 X Worse !! Radar always up brother . Have a safe and happy week ahead 🤠🙏♥️

And there are folks out there who buy up like 5 to 10 just to sell on eBay for triple the price ( they wait until the store is out of stock ). That’s happened to me more often than not . When I researched the first time , not only did I think it was by Condor , but I also swore it was made of 5160 steel . I guess some folks had some problems with the steel ( maybe it wasn’t heat treated or something ). I don’t know . So I actually think they may of upgraded . Kind of hard to believe I know .
