I don't understand why they would make a traditional style bushcraft knife similar to a kephart & then give it a Nylon sheath? The two together don't mix at all a brown leather one would look alot better in my opinion. Also my experience with 5160 is its usually soft towards the tip which causes it to bend very easily so it was nice to see this one held up on the tip area

This sheath was probably cheaper than leather but I agree. I would have paid a little more for leather. It's been a great knife!

Ontario Knife Company, according to my information, does a lot of military and police contracts. Their biggest issue is that the quality control needs work. Fortunately they have a good warranty department. I have the Expensive, Ontario Kephart knife (Ontario Blackbird in S35VN). The initial Edge was serviceable but not that good. I spent a while re profiling the blade and polishing it. My only complaints with the Blackbird is that though it is serviceable it is not what I want in an ideal knife (Kydex sheathe, Thin behind the edge, and sabre grind).
