SEARCHING for the Monster: Pike Fishing Lures and Deadbaits

This week we join Nathan and Sean and Tom from Snagged Bro, their mission is to catch the biggest pike they can!
Sean and Tom will be sticking to lure fishing for pike and Nathan will be using all sorts of dead baits adding as much attraction as possible to see if he can tempt a big pike!

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

I had a 18.12 on lure, my mate had same fish weekend after on deadbait 18.7. Weekend after that we had 8 between us (4 each) then blank since. Weird winter this. Keep it up SB
