You could argue the different Krana-use is just a part of this being an amalgamated representative of both of Onua's rescues of Lewa in G1, since the lack of gold masks calls back to Onua saving Lewa from his infected one in 2001.

I love this. Like, actually, I love everything about this. How TF did you do this??? I don’t know what I’m impressed more by, the animation and visual quality or just the way you got them to be so fluid while using models that have rigid and gear-based parts. Like, how did you get their arms to not swivel around randomly while filming? How’d you get them to twist their heads??? Crazy stuff. It’s even a real storyline from the original lore. Great stuff, brings me back to my childhood. Wish we had this stuff back then.

Thanks man! Getting the increments even takes a bit of practice, but the thing that really helps is being able to play back the animation while I'm filming it - that way I can adjust the movements to be more even. I also used a lightsaber piece to connect the head so it could turn.

And a nice little reference there at the end :D Here is a suggestion for a future animation: Maybe a stop motion animation of a toa cannister arriving and then the assembly of one of the toa? Could be fun to see the version of one of the toa we havent seen on commercials or other fanmade version like Lewa, Kopaka or Gali :-)

Duuuuuude Absolutely incredible! The quality was astounding, and the set design was seamless! If I had to critique it(which is very hard to do)it’d be that the fight wasn’t long enough. This is more of a compliment lol, but I just wanted to see more of Onua and Lewa really going at it. But even then, I think the fight overall, was very impressive. 👏👏👏let’s get some applause for this man.

God I remember watching "The Krana" back in 2014 when Bionicle was announced to come back and I went on a spree of indulging myself in Bionicle content. Definitely was one of the big videos (same thing goes to "Waste Disposal" by joeblackman100) that inspired me to start doing my own stop motions at that time with Bohrok and with any mocs I had at the time. Just a simpler time. What I'm getting to before I go on a long monologue is that thank you for those happy memories and I'm happy to see you still making these outstanding stop motions.

I love overall the result of your hard work to make the animation so smooth and the plot easy to grasp. But I must say that what make this special to me personally... The minimum modifications on the sets. I am aware the pose ability of original sets is lacking for such project, but I can not express how wonderful was to see them move. You didn't leave us anything to criticize, this is a stunning Bionicle stop-motion short-film. Clearly the work of a perfectionist. Given how well you understand the importance of good lighting, I'd even consider releasing links to some of those frames to be used as wallpapers. (for example 1:24)

Ahhh man you got the tears rolling, lewas krana infection was a big feels fest in the comics and this brought so much nostalgia back. I hope you return someday to do another one, hopefully with Kopaka and Pohatu, another great pairing in the lore. Such high quality animation.
