Yet another reason why you should always wear a mask... Thanks for watching and subscribe for behind the scenes videos! Oh and by the way, I do realize the krana is not quite correct and the toa should have their golden masks - I just didn't have those at the time of filming! Hopefully that will not detract too much from the viewing experience :)

You could argue the different Krana-use is just a part of this being an amalgamated representative of both of Onua's rescues of Lewa in G1, since the lack of gold masks calls back to Onua saving Lewa from his infected one in 2001.

The quality of the animation, the small bit of humor at the end (making fun of the fact that Bohrok Va literally will NEVER catch a break, no matter what happens), and how you can pretty much see, to an extent, everything that's going on in Lewa and Onuas' heads. Thank you Eljay, that's very kind! I remember at Brickfair you said something along the lines of "whatever you do, just make sure it gets finished!" That's been in the back of my mind since then, especially with this past year being incredibly busy for me and having to carve out hours of free time to work on it. And while I'm here, I wanted to say thanks for putting the work into running the canon contests along with the rest of TTV - it's been a blast seeing the creativity and community building that's been happening as a result.

How TF did you do this??? I don’t know what I’m impressed more by, the animation and visual quality or just the way you got them to be so fluid while using models that have rigid and gear-based parts. Like, how did you get their arms to not swivel around randomly while filming? How’d you get them to twist their heads??? Crazy stuff. It’s even a real storyline from the original lore. Great stuff, brings me back to my childhood. Wish we had this stuff back then.

The movements of the krana-infected Lewa really capture the lifeless, morbid, and blind-evil of the Makuta/kranas/bohrok. Amazing work, brother! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Mate it's rare to see a Stop Motion of this quality, the fluid motion the lighting and the overall production is top quality and how the hell did you make it look like Onua was shocked to see Lewa under the Bohrok control? this video is amazing keep up the awesome work

Thanks so much! As for onua’s reaction: editing, camera movement, and music do all the work when you can’t do facial expressions!

This is just... wow. I remember you from ‘the olden days of biotube’, but i never imagined some of us stuck around and actually started making real high quality stuff! This is absolutely fantastic, i never imagined anyone could get these kinds of movements and character acting out of the stiff toa mata.

Ahhh man you got the tears rolling, lewas krana infection was a big feels fest in the comics and this brought so much nostalgia back. I hope you return someday to do another one, hopefully with Kopaka and Pohatu, another great pairing in the lore. Such high quality animation.
