Didn’t Tak Renood mention in his captains log that he built the onyx cinder to be heavily armoured hence why it was still intact after the crash?

I didn't pick up on that. But it seems like SM-33's story of how the ship came to be on At-Attin is not entirely true.

Jod went through a lot of hassle to make his captain-hood challenge to Fern end without harming her, if he wanted her dead that would have been is right according to the code. He also could have killed them after becoming captain or order SM-33 to do so. Him grabbing the saber seems more of a grim satisfaction, a saber is probably a lot better against pirates with a gun, than that machete he brought with him.

⁠@@ReturnOfTheNerdStarWarsOr if you want to keep it somewhat darker, it was about what he would do to his old crew. Including changing wolfman to get back to being their captain. Even if he is just pretending to have force power (like KB suggested) that having a lightsaber would really sell it. (If I recall correctly it is only metal things he has manipulated). Or at the very least it is worth a decent price to the right bidder, although it is minute in comparison to an Old Republic mint. And to the crashing. The Onyx Cider is in terrible condition, so it might have crashed. And if the crash was on purpose then it could have been done in a way that insures maximum humanoid casualties without damaging the ship too much. Some years back I was in a lower speeds frontal collision with my car, cars are very much designed in a way that made sure I was relatively fine while car was mechanically destroyed. While other types of accidents might result in death, but a drive-able vehicle.

The ship did not crash I agree. As you recall the other planet they landed on had auto pilot landing and so at attin would have the same technology. That was certainly the reason for showing on the prior landing

Also SM 33 explained about the concubine and so never would have believed fern as you point out

The opening scene of this show is not what you think. It's part of the ending scene of the show! He is Captain Silvo, he will reunite with the kids in this episode!

I'm also wondering did any of the Pirates refer to Jod as Captain Silvo when he was in the brigg? We only see Silvo with the mask, but is there any confirmation that Silvo is 100% Jude Law's character? This show is confusing me to death (and it was made for kids) 😂

Shields around the ship would protect it from being damaged during a crash landing.

Tak in the log also mentions that he put extra armor on the ship. I'll also note that the Millenium Falcon crash landed on Starkiller Base through trees and dirt and whatnot and was just fine afterwards too. So the Onyx surviving a slightly harder landing that killed everyone on board without significantly damaging the ship isn't implausible. Also? The Onyx was found UPSIDE DOWN on At Attin. That does not suggest a controlled landing.

PLOT TWIST: The Worm Rat in SM-33's head is hidden in PLAIN SIGHT has a LOT more to the story...and NOBODY is talking about it! I agree with your theory...The Onyx Cinder didn't crash land.

could Jude law’s character be a Jedi youngling who survived the clone wars and after the clones and then everyone thought Jedi were the bad guys he felt betrayed by the republic he and his Jedi master fought for so he is just trying to find more information on Jedi or on the teachings as he wasn’t fully trained

@andrewkelly5356 this could also be a very plausible theory. He has become twisted like Anakin at some point in his young life, but we don't know the exact situation. I think in episode 8 before dies he will tell all. Get ready for a sad ending.

Yeah, I think Order 66 really messed up Jod, and I think I know the reason why. What is the common theme among pirates in this show? Betrayal. What happened during Order 66? The Jedi Order was betrayed by the Republic and *one of their own*. I think this is why Jod is a pirate. He trusts no one and always expects betrayal and is ready to betray first in turn, and the pirates in his view are at least honest about it. This is also why he doesn't join Luke Skywalker's new Jedi Order. He doesn't trust the new Jedi to not betray him or be betrayed in turn. And assuming the Disney Sequel Trilogy remains canon, he's completely correct.

not a scratch on it?? We constantly see pieces falling off of it lol. Crash landing doesn't mean it crashed high-speed into the planet at a 90 degree angle. They could have been coming in for a normal landing, slowly, then the crew started fighting and someone bumped into the controls, rolling the ship and crashing it into the dirt
