Wow what a blessing to have places like that to ride at. In my part of the woods we don’t have this type of terrain. Awesome ride!

If ivwas your son I would sell the ONYX and buy the Enduro bike or the cab falcon But I love what you have done with your bike Sam ...

I just wanted to say thank you so much for making these videos oh man I can't wait to get mines but there's a question that I need to ask when you got your 5000watt kit did you had to Calibrate the motor or was it done by the factory

You're welcome and thank you for watching! No they performed the hall test for me I did not have to do anything but plug it in and ride. But don't worry the hall test is no big deal if you have to do it.

Great ride man. What is the most fun to drive? Onyx or the black one?
@samjohnson5173 жыл бұрын
They both have their good points I think I like the onyx a little better on the street it's more agile and narrow to get around traffic but the black one is a beast! Black one for sure off-road.

Wow looks really fun. How much battery did all that riding take up? I'd be scared of getting stranded

Hello that place is close to my house so not much maybe 20 or 30%

what is your opinion on a 15k motor?
@samjohnson5172 жыл бұрын
Hello, well I guess it depends on the application, for a bicycle I really don't think you could get a battery big enough to see the benefit of a motor that size, I think it would just be unnecessary added weight and probably slow the bike down considerably.

@@samjohnson517 same frame as yours. 72volt 49ah paired with a sabvoton 72v 200A controller

you're right on the edge I guess if you're going to be wide open a lot the bigger motor (qs273) would run cooler but I think the qs205 could still handle that 14,400 Watts in short bursts
@edwardstoll18032 жыл бұрын
@@samjohnson517 the motor is a QS273, 3T. Just waiting for it to be delivered. I was interested in getting a wicked thumb ebike until I saw your video.
@pedrofernandez87293 жыл бұрын
This type of e bikes is gonna cause local and state governments to pass laws restricting e bikes in general, hurting those of us who just want or need e bikes to help get us back into cycling. Too fast to use in trails or sidewalks. Should only be used on the streets.

Exactly what irresponsible thing did he do? He road an empty trail followed all traffic laws getting there. Idk why you would get upset at this guy enjoying the freedom of riding vs a govt that would take it away when no one was hurt or put in danger.
