Nice! Mines is almost here! Just a tip! I wouldnt recommend using wd40 or anything at all when installing grips. Its dangerous. I use alcohol. Lubes it then dries off no residue. Take care bud!

You are correct sir. I agree. Putting them with wd40 isn’t bad but alcohol would be way way better

Lol not quite rocket science, but it seems a tad more than plug n play...having to de-pin and label and re-pin...video helps and makes it simple tho, so mission accomplished...I gave you a thumbs up and will come back to this video if I decide to upgrade.

@@MrMittens01 yeah I wasn’t really gonna make it an installation video I just started making 5 to 10 second clips as I was doing the job because I needed to get it done pretty quick because I had a lot of stuff going on that day. But I decided to put little titles in the video to show what I’m doing on each step. Sadly you do have to Depin the connectors. It’s Scary but if You take the 15mins to label them all. It’s so easy to do. I was going to tell Alvin that makes the plug and play harness so you don’t have to solder any wires that he should label each wire somehow to make it easier for the customer to not have to do that extra step

Your index and thumb were hurting coz of the half twist throttle. If you cut the domino the same size then it would hurt the same

If you look at the onyx stock throttle. I believe the buttons are attached to it so you would have to change the whole Unit Out.

Will that mod void the warranty on the bike?

Not sure. My onyx should have a 1year warranty but recently this year in February I believe onyx changed their policy from 1year to 30days. I purchased mine under the 1year warranty but onyx still hasn’t fixed my bike 😞

$100 for the throttle and $230 for the harness with buttons, ouch! Gonna wait until something breaks before biting that bullet
