When removing the old throttle u could have just cut it. De- pin was kind of a waste of time unless u are re using the wire for something. Also did u have to remove the wood cover? What was the reason for that?

Correct! I just wanted to save the throttle and give it to someone who might need it. I removed the wood cover for another video
