Rappers back then weren't afraid to not seem "cool". Most of them stayed true to who they were. For this song in particular, the energy and personality is off the charts. Something that lacks in today's music.

In all reality, this song is 100% garbage. The lyrics are just horrible, there isn't a flow to speak of, and the actual rapping is laughable at best. It's genuinely funny to have someone try to defend old school hip hop with this song in particular
