I have go+play and also I have 2 onyx 4..If I compere go play to onyx 4,go play more powerful and has strong bass..But in my point of wiew,I enjoy with onyx 4 more then go play..Onyx 4 has more crystal sound..But if 2 onyx 4 pair via HK connect app,and choose stereo mod,I can not explain quality of the sound..But only I am so disappointed that,it is impossible pair onyx 4 to go play😒I hope HK team create new app for this strange problem..

you're using a smartphone to record? that alone is bad. smartphone's mic got a lot of "auto" function that can't be disabled. you can't go manual in term of every loud noise will automatically be cut off to certain level. not to mention the mic itself won't be able to pickup all the richness of the musics.

I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

Joey Tribbiani My personal favorite is the Play 5, I personally find the clean low bass response a big plus which many other speakers don't have. I've heard the B W Zeppelin, Bose Soundtouch 30, HK Omni 20 and HEOS 7 and I think the Play 5 has the best overall sound. The Zeppelin is a good second to consider by the way, the only problem is that it simply doesn't reach the same clean lows.

Joey Tribbiani The high's and the mids are very decent but the Zeppelin does have the edge there. However the bass difference between the 2 is alot bigger. If your going to listen to mostly classic/instrumentals you could try the Zeppelin Wireless, otherwise the Play 5 is the better speaker

Stuart Fergus Really depends on what you appreaciate the most, I myself look for a good balance between design aesthetics and good sound. I like the onyx studio 3 for theire one of a kind look. Theres simply nothing better looking when taking into account design. However in terms of sound you may want to look into the Go Plays which have deeper bass or Sonos (I would only buy into Sonos for the Sub and Play:5, which like the HK speakers look like pieces of art in your living room and deliver amazing lows, the other Sonos speakers are overpriced and not worth the extra dough).

Stuart Fergus No problem, I get comment notifications through my phone so I reply fast :-). The Go Play offers amazing sound with clean low room shaking bass (deeper than the Aura), good highs and good treble. The Onyx Studio 3 tends to preform a tad better on vocals and highs though.
