Thank you for a cake with no eggs. My grandson who is 4 years old is allergic to eggs. My birthday is the end of August and I always hesitate to have a cake because I want him to share my birthday treat with me. I love chocolate and I can't wait to make this for us so that he can eat it too!

Yummy! I had Forgotten that cake and you just reminded of how good it was! I’m going to get up out of this recliner (after I subscribe!) and make this since I always have all those pantry staples, luckily…I love how unabashedly you use your finger to wipe off the precious batter left on the spatula! I just wanted to let you know that it turned out great! (Didn't even stick despite forgetting to grease the pan.) Hubby loved it, too, and he isn't a big fan of chocolate desserts.

Mine is in the oven right now. I doubled the recipe and am cooking it in a 9x13 pan. I'm laughing though because I forgot to grease my pan first, lol! I figure if I have to I can just leave an edge stuck to the pan, the rest should be good still.

Whoa; a chocolate-lover's dream. Ever make these in a muffin pan with extra-large size muffin forms? Then when cool, take them out and freeze them in freezer-to-oven dishes? We have to go sparingly with eating desserts with lots of sugar. I'd love to portion this recipe to freeze. A now-and-later plan. Thoughts?
