Medical coder here-there’s five stages of kidney disease and then end stage renal disease (ESRD). Stage five is when your kidneys are running at a very low capacity and end stage is basically kidney failure unless you are regularly getting dialysis or a transplant, you will die. Love your videos btw-they definitely keep me going while I’m working.

As someone with end stage renal failure, I've had dialysis by a catheter placed through my neck even though I already had another catheter placed for regulardialysis. I wouldn't be surprised he has it, but that he was in the hospital for other reasons. Like something wrong is going on with his heart. Dudes blood pressure must be through the roof.

I imagine if he does get a transplant the kidney will reject him rather than his body rejecting the kidney! XD

I have type 1 diabetes & stage 5 kidney failure and have done peritoneal dialysis for a year so I have a catheter in my stomach and hook it up to a machine every night at home and my stomach cavity cleans out the toxins while I sleep for 8 hours .
