I have a plant sitter coming round to check on things as well so if those self watering sticks don't work, they'll get taken cared anyway! :) fingers crossed it all works out haha

Hoya Elliptica grows really fast even in soil. Purchased mine very small 2 months ago and it is at least triple in size and very healthy. Thanks for thevideo

I just bought some Lechuza pots that all come with Lechuza Pon. It was an Australian small business supplying them..."growing vertical" I think. Very impressed so far. Rareplants in Nambour Qld. Have great hoyas at good prices. I just bought 10 new ones too.

I love how you point out the little details otherwise goes unnoticed. Funny how some plants are hard to find, then all of a sudden - boom! they flood the market...pink princess is readily found now in local Walmart! Summer is almost over here in Michigan...it was a terribly hot summer and ready for fall...you're the opposite of us. Enjoy your trip and hope the watering system works out...I saw the most loviest Hoya at a local Lowe's and thought of you while you were away...didn't buy and still no Hoyas in my collection. Being inspired by your return, I repotted some of my plants and purchased a new one, not sure yet what it is...but never the less, added a new plant to my ever growing jungle! My plants love the new house and all the light. I have one that goes all the way around the room...philodendrons are my faves! Be safe and looking forward to hearing about your journey. Hugs. P.S. Hi Grace, I’m so keen to get my hands on a Chinghungensis at a reasonable price now that you’ve mentioned that it is available in Australia. Also repotted some of my Hoyas into MAB Grow with self watering system similar to what I’ve seen Fonnie Tang use with Pon. So far so good and the coming summer will be just what we need to get them growing again. Thanks for sharing your new plants, keep us updated on their progress.

Collectors corner also has an eBay store that has good stock too! I purchased the more uncommon Hoyas from a seller on Instagram called @rarehoya_andmore. She also sells on eBay - that's where I found her listings!
