My brother landed in the Phillipines 5 years ago for what was going to be the first stop of a Southeast Asia sojourn - that was one wife, two kids, a home, and years of laughter, joy, happiness ago. He gave me the courage to start my own journey, and I found a similar peace in the Yucatan Peninsula. The world is so big and so small at the same time. There are so many places that will welcome you - and at least one place that is truly meant for you. Find your courage, your peace, your inspiration, your love...your life :)

oh!! Good for you for this type of travel is the best way to see the world .. I did it when I was young and I had the time and went to South Pacific spending most of my time in New Zealand and Fiji. 20 years later decided I missed extended trips and took 6 month leave of absence from work at age 40 to explore India, Nepal and Thailand .... Now I am retiring and heading out again this coming summer at age 64 ,Europe to start .. Best when younger as it easier and no worries about ageism when young .. Have a great time!

Saw you first on Foresty Forest's channel, enjoyed watching your adventures. I was surprised to find out you're half Pinay, you'll have a great time in the Philippines. You visited during the right time as it is cooler during the months of December - February, it gets brutally hot and humid in the Philippines or even South East Asia in general during the rest of the year. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines and your time exploring/learning your heritage. I'm sure your Father is there with you in Spirit and at the same time proud that his daughter visited where he came from. Looking forward to your travels, Loui.

Good for you, always nice to see where you’re roots are. Be safe….I recommend not eating fresh fruit in Southeast Asia because of parasites, my niece got them in Bali and Thailand

Nice Video! My first visit to the PH back in 2004 was in Cebu. It was quite the culture shock. I was there (I am from the US ) to hang out with my then girlfriend. I have visited there many times and my wife is from the PH (Quirino Province) on Luzon. We were there last in 2019. I love visiting there. Enjoy your time there. You will absolutely love it!
