I moved into this apt in May, I still have only half unpacked. I just found a bucket of stuff hiding in the back of a closet that got stuffed there when we got here that I didn't even know I had. Probably staying another year, so maybe I'll get fully moved in before we end up leaving. But the struggle is real.

i really like ashley because of those honest moments she shares. i think about that particular thing a lot in my personal life. my dad wasn't a great person at all. i have a lot of residual trauma from the time i lived with him that i'm working through, and anytime i see anything in myself similar to him, i panic. its nice to see someone else have a similar fear. and its nice to know that if its something we're thinking of and working on, we can't be that bad. y'know

I’m not sure why but I got really emotional when she said merry Christmas when booking her hotel I think it’s because it seemed very lonely and the last thing I want for Ashley is to feel alone. I hope New York opens lots of opportunity for friendships that we can see Ashley blossom into!!
