Dance Academy is mainly about the fifteen-year-old Tara Webster - a girl who grew up on a farm in outback Australia. Since she was a little girl she has dreamt of being a dancer and in the series she finally makes it into the National Academy of Dance. It’s known as the best school in the country and she is sure her life is about to be spectacular.
Throughout the series Tara and her friends face the universal challenges of being a teenager and they battle through the minefield of elite dance training. Relationships grow and change as they live side by side in the Boarding House. They each take a different path, but they start to find out who they are and they all dare to chase their dreams.

Sure they do, it’s called freedom of speech. If the person engages in a verbal attack which is considered slander, then she can sue. You are thinking of fighting words, which is something only allowed as justification for assault in certain states. My understanding is that Georgia has a particularly forgiving statute on the books for that. But unless this show takes lace there, she kind of does, at least to the point of pressing charges for assault. But she could be civilly liable for slander. Not that young people usually press charges or go to court over stuff like this. But they could.

Assuming you do all the other steps first, then yeah. Step one, as frustrating as it is to do, ask them politely to stop bullying harassing you. Step two, get parents AND school/instructors involved. Step three, ask them politely again. Then Step four, you can fight back. Doing this will make sure you don't get in trouble. And you can't do this all on the same day. Each step should be a day itself. Will the steps work? Most likely not, but you'll regret just outright assaulting your bully because of the consequences.

Ha, this triggered a flashback. I did the same thing in middle school with a wooden paddle I'd just made in one of my classes. Poor kid quickly learned he picked the wrong day to f with me. I walked away calmly when he dropped to the floor, didn't care about the damage. He learned an important lesson that day.

A response to ellie phantom. You have good points. BUT many of us have never hit anybody, but have been angry enough to want to. Thats why people like to see violence in movies the heroes take incredible attacks or injuries; and wal k away. Totally unrealistic. And many abusers( especially females ) are so verbally insulting and hurtful, its like a thousand knife cuts . Once you hear stuff, its hard ro get it out of your head 😮😮

considering pointe shoes typically have a small block of material in the toe (usually burlap or some other stiff fabric/material that has been hardened with glue to create a wood-like block), the chances of smacking someone in the jaw with that and not causing some serious damage resulting in assault charges/paying for medical treatment is severly low. also, while the bullying is wrong, and i myself have resorted to slapping before, assaulting someone is not the ideal way of handling a situation like this. Its a good way to get a record (yes, juvenile records are typically scrubbed at 18 in America, but depending on the charge and how its handled it could carry into adulthood), and not correcting the behavior or even rewarding it can, and usually does, result in the child thinking this is an appropriate response. my best guess is that those who post comments such as "this is how you handle a bully" or "I'd do that to" are a) still under 18, b) never been given appropriate correction for physically striking another person, c) likely to end up in jail for physical altercations, or d) peacocking in the comments and can't even stand up for themswlves verbally so they act big on the internet to gain... what, exactly?
