You really do some great sound design in this one that I haven’t heard anyone do with the Nymphes before! Thanks for a great video and the inspiration! I liked that LFO reverb trick.

oxi one and nymphes seems like such a good pairing. Love it. Thanks for the video. Wish I had seen this video before buying Arturia Minifreak. I already have the oxi one and I think that I would have been much more happy with the nymphes.

In my setup i use 2 Novation control XL with all the CC controls mapped to edit every parameter, works perfect.

Such a great sounding piece! I can imagine it filling in as a main melody support role... As a voice between a bass line and melody. For example, similar to the roll a rhythm guitar player does in a jazz band that is based around a piano. But, it's gorgeous enough to stand as the main instrument as well.

I was thinking of building a small modular set w/Oxi One, Coral and my Zebu, but now I doubt, Coral or Nymphees? This thing sounds really great!!!

Lovely. I had to sell my ROOMS after many years once I noticed how, when engaged, the ‘dry’ signal is LPFed. I couldn’t live with losing all my sizzle. Sad, because I have not found a replacement that I love as much. If I used a mixer I could have set it up on an aux and just used wet, I know. But that not how I work at the moment. When DBA fix this or make a mark 2 or new product. I will be all over it. Great little set up. The Nympes is a fantastic little synth with a single lovely poly LFO. I should get it again too. Thanks for the video ✌️

i love mine. i velcrowed it to my board at a 90°angle. that's the best. you can play the faders without looking between your index and middlefinger.

Those chords are beautiful I’m just replaying your video over those parts so I can memorize those cords because if you just hand me a keyboard, I cannot come up with chords like that my knowledge of them is horrible

Thoughts on Nymphes compared to Vermona?
@OoraMusic Жыл бұрын
very different sound and mostly UI. Vermona feels more a performative instrument to me, while the Nymphes is a powerful tone generator

Great sounds! Whats the type of cable going into the mood on the right? Im searching for a low profile angled jack but cant find this design.

Someone tell me why you went at my list synthesizer with a Keystep for around $550 versus spending $940 on the vongon replay

Great video as always. What PC screen is that? And is there a special stand to make it this low? Thank you

is just the standard dell screen stand!

Thank you so much for this video. I have been having a lot of trouble finding the right analogue synth for an upcoming project. I didn't want the trouble (or in some cases, the expense) of going vintage, but had trouble finding the sound I was looking for in more modern synths. The Korg Prologue came close. I had heard the Nymphes compared to a Juno, which did not seem ideal to me in this case. Hearing you compare the Nymphes to the Korg Polysix helped me make sense of how it might, if programmed correctly, be just what I need. I'll do a bit more checking; but the low price point makes me far less risk averse! And it doesn't in any way sound cheap - a little ragged, not a very rounded, full tone or a filter with 'gaps' in it; which in themselves can be nice features for certain contexts.

Ciao! Ho trovato il tuo canale! Bello!
@lorenzovicari17243 ай бұрын
Prendi un Roland s 1. Portatile, polifonico, suona bene e la roba base la fai in maniera molto facile. E spendi meno se poi non lo usassi più

Nymphes sounds fine, but only until you try to use usb for both midi and power (which dreadbox claim it supports) - then it becomes noisy af, unusable really... dreadbox refuse to admit the design flaw and sell a "Nymphes USB POWER/DATA splitter" for 10eur instead. I sold mine... should have known better - you always get what you paid for in the end. Save up and get a real synth ;) P.S. With a basic setup, and only utilising trs midi in (midi out is only possible via usb, which is unusable), you'll be fine.. might have to use a powerbank for recording though
@rorschach110 ай бұрын
It has a separate Jack for midi. And the usb power works best with an adapter for a power supply. Connect the usb power to a power strip and use the 1/8 inch midi cord and have no noise issues.
@AM-ic8hc10 ай бұрын
@@rorschach1 As already stated, yes, with a basic setup that will work. Now imagine if you needed to use patch sysex that nymphes can send when a patch is loaded, and send CC to nymphes... It can only be done with usb midi
