Ooty to Masinagudi Day 3 | Jeep safari | Wild Elephant crossing road | Mudumalai

Day 3: This video is going to be day 3 of our Ooty trip. We travelled from Ooty to Masinagudi and visited Mudumalai Tiger Reserve forest. We have also covered some good places during the travel. I would say, it is the best day out of all. Yes, we saw wild elephant crossing the road with their family during mudumalai forest safari . Also we are able to see few animals in jeep safari like bison, peacock, deer, Monkey. And visited a temple. Hope you enjoy this video.

I was there at Theppakkadu, Moyar, Masinagudi, Singara and Bokapuram about 20 years back. On that day no such cameras were available like nowadays digital. At the time we have to load film for only 32 takes and make it wash and print and also no handy video camera to shoot that places properly. Now it is advanced with didital camera with high resolution and no space limit problem is kept like conventional cameras. Your video triggers me an enthusiastic flashback again and my past memories are once again ressurected when I viewed it in HD. On that time it was easy to locate dangerous animals like Stripped Tiger, Leopard and Black Bears along side of Theppakadu and Masinagudi road. Now it is obviously rarer, cause more tourists accumulation and deforestation. Thank you for the video and explanation. Try to come over Masinagudi to Ooty via Kalhatty with 36 dangerous hairpin bends and it will give you a more thrill ride.

Nice, Is there a limit to the number of Jeeps that are allowed in the forest reserver AT ANY TIME ? I saw an entire fleet of jeeps lined up in the forest - thus aggravating diesel pollution in the pristine forests. Some subtitles in English in terms of the times that the forest reserve opens, Best time to see the wild animals as English Subtitles would have helped.

Yes, All jeep are operated with government norms and the timings for jeep safari would be morning 6 to evening 6pm. Best time to see animals would be morning and evening before the safari service close. Thanks for your valuable feedback🙏. I will add it in upcoming videos.

@@AsquareVlog I am confused some say we took jeep in govt recognised office in mudumalai. Some says we took jeep in masinagudi . Is there two spots for wildlife off road drive?

No one can drive a jeep without without government authorization. Forest officers will monitor things. Drivers having authorize license only are allowed to take passengers and they are local guys. When you reach mudumalai junction, you can either talk to local guys and fix the best price for jeep or go to government counter. I think both are reasonable and same. Its up your bargaining talent. If you want I can provide the contact number of driver we went. Hope that is helpful.
