Op Shepherd Launch 2023 - with Chief Inspector Tracie Trubshaw

This year we launched Op Shepherd - our annual response to increased crime types during the festive period - from the Plaza Community Cinema in Crosby.
Every year during the festive period, we see an increase in certain crime types that take advantage of the early dark nights and the good will and cheer that is always prevalent throughout Merseyside. To combat this, every year Merseyside Police launch a force-led approach with increased patrols and targeted operations that utilise the wide array of specialist capabilities and intelligence Merseyside Police has available.
