The Sakazuki Actually had it if he didnt go greedy he coulda easly removed 2 units and played another blocker with the manchery

Better play vs Enel would’ve been to play kid blocker and law rip hand and then next turn play kaido to ko sanji blocker or anything else, plus you don’t fall so behind on don like you did

Have you thought about not running Magellan? I really dislike using leader ability and then playing him because I feel like I took a life away without gaining any advantage to dropping Kaido quicker…I’ve been switching out Magellan for minozebra (banish) or just a regular 5drop 7k vanilla.

It's really good into matchups like Enel who don't have a good answer to bottom deck Magellen. Magellen's -2 DON on KO is very oppressive and typically forces your opponent to deal with him another way, or ignore him entirely. Enel wants to see 9 curve for Yamato, if you drop Magellen you set them back. If you drop it twice you REALLY set them back. Its all preference.

I get the hesitation to include Magellan, but I like him for the yellow matchups.

ironically while I don't think you need magellan for yellow, I still play 3 for sakazuki because opening a magellan can help throw them off curve and demand that they use their bottom deck removal on it lest they decide getting beaten up is better. But definitely one of the least fun cards to play in the deck

Magellan throws a huge wrench into decks with a sensitive or specific curve, especially Yellow and Sakazuki.

9c turn 3 is still extremely oppressive, and will win you the game, even against Sakazuki. They MUST have Ice Age to out Kaido at 6 Don!!. Otherwise they lose.
