I was trying the Viola myself recently. It's virtually a 4 cost gain 2 life. You don't ALWAYS have moria available, and that viola comes in clutch. I don't really love the makino too much but well I s'pose the 2k comes in clutch quite often. Also viola is game winning vs super aggressive decks. Overall a great great card. With viola setting up ace is incredibly strong also, and its quite a rougish option so if you don't show it early it may lead opponents to mistakes.

YES! Exactly! Thanks so much for testing out the Viola and sharing what you found - I've found her to be super useful for all the same reasons you mentioned! Plus, I've used her second effect to gain knowledge of my opponent's life in the Enel matchup and the mirror, which can be game-changing!

I absolutely love flampe and viola in u/y ace. It’s kinda the same thing. If I brick on my leader search but see satori or if I don’t have a little guy but I search and find 5c ace or luffy I put them on my life then flip them and now I have more life or I can use flampe to put them into my hand and also draw a card. I love these three brothers decks

Yess!! Viola is like made for BY Luffy and UY Ace (and Pudding ofc once she comes out). Can't imagine why more people aren't playing her. I never actually considered how well Flampe works with Ace specifically! Your life's staying the same and you hand size goes +1. That's nuts!

@@WillofDDT yeah man it’s some good tech and I think people sleep on ace. I’ve been playing around with him for a couple weeks now and he’s nice. Luffy was nasty off rip for the most part. Yes I get ace up to 6 or 7 life sometimes and I also will keep him around 4 or 5 while getting those extra draws with flampe. A lot of times I can maintain over 3 life pretty much the whole game unless I’m wanting to slap 10c ace and rush with him. I’ll give up life to end the game.

Whats your game plan against bonney? I really want to play this at locals, but theres like 3 bonney players every week...😅

Not gonna lie, a good Bonney is extremely tough, even if you adopt the right strategy. But ideally you want to go second, establish a Viola Turn 2, a Sabo Turn 3, a JetPack Luffy Turn 4, and finally play your 10c Kuzan on Turn 5. The double Blockers help protect Jetpack Luffy in case they play Hody Jones. If you successfully drop 10c Kuzan while still on 2 life, you likely just win from there. Your Jetpack Luffy will destroy all their big units
