Opah K3 Kayak Bag VS Reliable Fishing Kayak Bag. One is a clear loser at the end!

I’m so glad to have such a high quality kayak bag. Absolutely blows my mind the difference a little bit of effort makes. Really goes to show how much pride you and your team put into Opah. The future of fish kill bags is going to be yours. Can’t wait to put some keepers in it this summer and not have it leak all over my SUV’s interior.

@@SouthFloridaFishingClub Its even better then it looks. Hands down the best cooler for a kayak on the market today! I might even use it for ice fishing this year too, bet it would keep all my food from freezing up while ice camping for a week.

GREAT review, comparison. In the market for a fish bag for my Hobie ProAngler 14. I'm buying a Opah kayak bag! UPDATE: at $340 vs Reliable $180...going with Reliable. Since my day trips are 6-8 hours max. I recognize great quality in the Opah but too expensive at $160 more. Guess the Reliable will get me by for day trippin'.

I had one. I just hated how it leaked bloody water all over the place. I ruined the carpet in my suv because it leaked and stunk so bad. I spent more then the 160$ difference to try to get the smell out, it soaked into the padding under the carpet. Reliable has a waterproofing method on their website but they want you to buy some special glue to do it, I wasn’t about to fix a brand new bag out of my pocket.

@@brandondulle good info, thanks. My salmon/hali/yellowtail will go from bag to Yeti cooler in the vehicle. Nonetheless, great video review of both bags.

Thanks. Take a look at mako kayak bag. It’s the same construction as reliable but they weld the seams so it’s waterproof. Price is 130 iirc.

This doesn't surprise me at all everything has gone up in the past 18 months, the quality is far superior. The bag is still worth every penny IMO.

@@brandondulle I think the quality is superior and worth every penny too. I'll be purchasing the Opah but just wanted to note that the comparison is now $196 vs $365 bags (taxes included) since the reliable fishing kayak bag's price hasn't gone up.
