Hi Electrical car repair,do you perhaps know why the Astra G,1600,16valve,2001 do not have a fuel / purge ventilation valve. The dealer confirmed this with me because it seems the car have the electrical cable for it under the bonnet but nothing connected to it. Can Chev cruz purge valve be used for it because the P0443 shows that there is a fuel ventilation problem.

Hi just changed my oxygen sensor on the Astra G,1600,16valve,2001.Came up as an error on the diagnostech test.Engine light was burning on dash. Now after I replaced engine light is off and appears on and off. Another error appear which says something about the petrol ventilation and it says on the diagnostech machine voltage high. Any advise on this.Have been struggling with this for past year.Dont know where and what to change.Live in South Africa.

when i refill my tank ,opel corsa c , the fuel shut off a lot of times. Is this valve, the cause? Is there any other valve? From where can i begin the check?

Hi, I have a P0443 fault too. I did as in the video, but the fault light does not go out. What else could be causing P0443 failure?

Yes, if you take it off the engine, you shouldn't be able to blow air through in any direction.

I try and it give the click sounds only if i blow it wil not flow inside the device it block off

Take it out. If you are able to blow air through, in any direction white its not being powered, it means the valve is stuck open. You can throw it in the bin.

Yeh I thought it was my hydraulic lifters. Or timing chain. But it was this valve 😮

If its clicking like a noisy tappet it is faulty.
