It's nice to have an honest review I'm getting despondent with car reviews glossing over the facts, well done Nobby

I had a Corsa about 35 years ago. Looking at the new one in a car park the other day, it struck me that even small cars at quite big now.

For sure. A Clio or Polo is another clear one

Great review, love the honesty. I had a Corsa rental 1.2 100hp GS-line for about 6 months while I was waiting for my new car. Without the hybrid, it was a great little engine to punt along and makes more sense from a value perspective as well. I found it quite a fun little car. Great in town and managed the long distances pretty well too. PCP over here in the UK though is the only way you can make sense of the financials - these should not be expensive cars. Driven a 208 too..... better looking I agree but that tiny steering wheel aggravated me no end 😂

Excellent review. Top notch.

The problem with many cars with engines these days is that those engines are made way too complicated with stupidly decisions like wet timing belts, clunky mild hybrids, heavy bodies, seriously, total disaster in a longer run. The only cars worth buying currently seems to be Toyota or Lexus

Never had a Corsa but a friend of mine did which he lowered and put the bug wheels, induction kit and sound system into back in the late 90s, one thing I would say is whilst yes I don't get the pricing of said car, the petrol and/or hybrid versions will be easier insured than the electric versions of either.

Haha, this Corsa is the same size as the F Astra.

@NobbyOnCars ups.....what is the prize of the dacia sandero in Ireland......in Germany it is affordable.....11.800,-....basic model... perhaps a better choice for narrow irish roads as well in England🤔

Always enjoy your videos. Yes so annoying Ford killed the fiesta. I'm now looking at the Renault 5 but hanging onto my current car for another few years

Looks wise its nice the interior is miles better than Corsas of old but when i drove a courtesy car for a few days i hated it like driving inside a pill box just too little glass felt hemmed in also hated the Mokka. 208 miles bettrr looking but likely same view out its the same and of course you must avoid the Puretech 1.2 its kind of ruined the Stellantis reputation. Prefer the Swift as its such good value.

No not when they have a1,2 puretec engine a engine that's very unreliable a French engine peougot 208 dressed up as a opel sad day no real opels anymore

This or,... Renault 5? No sensible human with eyes, heart and a driveway to plug in would choose this over the 5.

Good review Mark. Not a fan of Opel since the brother had massive issues with the electrics a while back. 😊

Vauxhall is just a UK marketing division of Opel. Vauxhall hasn't designed a model independently of Opel since the original Viva.

@williamegler8771 I know but as you know there are many people who just see it as vauxhall

@StarizardOfficial Opel is sold in over 60 countries worldwide and Vauxhall is sold in one. Most of the world sees an Opel, not a Vauxhall.
