In this video I mainly touch on how much it actually cost myself to swap a first generation Coyote in our cheap 3V car. A little update on what’s new with the harness and a shop update. www.make-it-modular.com

Im looking to do this swap using your harness but would like to use my 3650 until I save up for a xl magnum. Would this be possible using the factory 3650 harness and gen I ECU?
@MattSoppa9 ай бұрын
Since the engine and transmission harness are one harness on the 4.6 you need to use a slightly modified 2013 to 2014 GT500 transmission harness when using the TR 3650 and yes you can use the GEN one ECU. But then you’d still use that GT500 trans harness with the XL

I want to do a 2-2-1 swap lol. In my 14 5.0 GT manual Ruby red tint car with 24k miles gen 1.

You sell the cars? What state are you in? Where do you post them?

I haven’t posted any personal cars yet but usually just on Facebook and OfferUp. AZ

How much different would the process be if swapping from a 09 v6?
@MattSoppa9 ай бұрын
Just a little mechanically for sure. Would need the AC lines compressor etc from a 4.6, and if your donor engine doesn’t come with mount brackets you’d need those.

@@MattSoppa okay thank so with all that and your harness everything should work fine?

How much do u charge to do a coyote swap in a 07 mustang GT if I provide the drive train and harness just to get it running?

Starting an 2005 Base Automatic project. Which Gen Coyote will fit?
@MattSoppaАй бұрын
@@ball1974 I’d suggest using a gen ECU. This can be accomplished by obviously using a gen one or your can put gen one timing components in a gen two to run a gen one ECU. Gen ECU is the most compatible with the 05-10 body electronics. Can get fancy with a 3-2-1 setup as well
@ball1974Ай бұрын
@@MattSoppa Any reputable recommendations on where to purchase Gen One? What type of transmission? Trying to stay automatic since I want to keep it as a daily for now. I'm assuming the 3-2-1 set up is available on your site. Thanks again! You're the first response from the many inquiries.
@MattSoppaАй бұрын
@@ball1974 for used I’d get a complete pull out with trans from an 11-14 Mustang GT. Either from a yard or eBay so there’s a sort of warranty. The 3-2-1 setup is a gen 3 short block gen 2 heads and gen one timing components. Not something I sell, but do have a crank sensor adapter for that. Feel free to email me at matt.makeitmodular@gmail.com

Hey Matt you said you can use the stock drive shaft? I'm doing a Gen 2 with a mt82 in my 3v. Can I just use the 11-14 driveshaft and possibly change the yokes to connect the trans and rear end?
@MattSoppa9 ай бұрын
I’m not sure when they went to the three bolt yoke but I thought it was 2018+? Either way you can change it easily and use an 11-14 DS
