You are the man! I bought all my stuff off Rocky Mountain before watching this video. I bought a few damn things i don't need. Like free pistons and an oring kit. $95 wasted

Another great shlog, no messing around, smooth flow but did get lost on the air thingy thing, didn't know what was going on but great shlog 👍

I have those forks on my 04 YZ 250, I absolutely l love them in the Michigan trails, very smooth, way more than my My Beta Sachs

Hey that was awesome will be doing this on my 04 yz450f soon. ? What are the axle housing on the end of the forks called? Mine have broken ears so I cant mount the fork protectors to them. Spent over an hour in my manual trying to find the technical name for that part.

@@highlandcycles Yes Im sarting to figure that out. looks like Ill need to find a clean set of forks without broken ears and rebuild them. Thank you for your help. Bet you havent been asked that before

Yeah just noticed on my 23 ktm 250xcf seals are leaking. 21 hours so I guess 🤷‍♂️

Is the 110ml oil level a fairly standard volume across forks to start at?

Yes. 110mm is a good starting point for most open chamber forks.

@@highlandcycles And I guess to correct myself, its 110 mm air gap not 110 ml oil level. What's the effect of running more or less oil/air gap?

@@spaceboyrr More oil or less air gap=stiffer feel as they will ramp up more towards the end of stroke and increase bottoming resistance. And vice versa.
