Might aswell be the dust2 of OF. This map really talks about the hard thinking on mixing the deathmatch gameplay and the tf2 theme. Also this is where i started to learn more about bhopping and how cool it is to do so.

I love this map with the use of different height platforms and jump pads. It is a lot better than the map port dm_longestyard with a similar usage of those elements. Glad that this map is in the game, and it's designed for Open Fortress gameplay in mind. Edit: I really like this style of editing. Very entertaining to watch.

I know that I'm late for the Q&A , but since I started playing Open Fortress , I would like to know how do you select that huge variety of weapons. Do you use the wheel from de mouse? Or if you use binds or whatever , which weapons and where are your binds placed?

i did not play the mod yet but this map is my favourite so far and the gameplay look fun . it will never work as tf2 map but it great as arena shooter map for sure . i love the oil rig look and it don't look generic . also the size of the map is not too big but it hardly have closed space and feel so open . map that focuses on verticality is something we see missing in a lot of modern map design from a lot of games . because we so used to never look up it not easy to make map work like this . but i see smart way to make verticality work on this map . -there is 4 towers you can spawn in in 4 different sides . what can spawn on lv0 or lv1 etc . what make you want to go up always because best weapon and powerup is in higher levels -the oil rig is not connected in every area from lv0 via bridge or something . either you need to go to higher level to use jump pad what allow you to have full view of the map so you got an idea where your enemies are. -the map push you to go to the center of the map without you realizing it . the black pipe in the middle is good place to let you change your level easily what make it focus point even more than normal and the different of the color of it make it stick out from the rest of the map . i am no map designer but i love the aesthetics of this map and layout .

Blamo, can you or any one reading this comment help me out on a question? Yesterday I downloaded the tortoisesvn and used the correct IP and folder destination in my steam apps folder but when I try to install it always times out so just wondering if its currently down!?

If you haven't asked anyone on #troubleshooting in the OF discord server you should probably do that since that might be the best solution for you (be sure to show everyone there what ip you're using as well as what folder destination is set just in case). Aside from that, have you tried removing the s from https? I heard that has been working out for a few people. Svn also hasn't been the most reliable so there's a chance that it was down or the download was simply slow

I quickly fell in love with this map after seeing this video. So.... I made a 24/7 Gump Server for everyone to use! You can connect at op.fuckin.bet:27015 in the server browser. I'll be coding a plugin today that let's players vote on game modes to play as well.

To be honest with you I agree. I mean make your servers however you want ofc, but it's just that I struggle to find how shit like that can be fun to some people. Different strokes for different folks I guess. At least 16 players is *tolerable* for me but at the end of the day I just wish there was more variety to what's popular, you know.
