Granady definitely the best player, this format is much more fair and the skill of the players prevails. On the other side, the Head-to-Head format with map wins does not do justice, IMO.

The bottom 4 in TMGL will do 2 head-to-heads, Riolu vs. Link and Evon vs. Scrapie - the two losers of those matches will be removed from TMGL for next season. At the same time, the top 4 in OGL (Binkss, Soulja, Granady, and Worker) will do 2 more head-to-heads (Granady vs. Worker, Soulja vs. Binkss) to determine who is moving into the two vacant spots in TMGL next season.

Finally a fair totally fair point system, that truly represents the position of all players in each race driven in the match, rather than having focus solely on the top8, or only on the first place, like in TMGL steps, playoffs. It's underwhelming to me, that the Open Grand League has a 100% accurate ranking in the end, meanwhile in the main top16 Grand League steps most attention goes the upsets caused by point loss, and in the playoffs only the first position was in consideration. However, I do understand, that this format isn't as exciting to watch, despite it being more suitable for competitive TrackMania. It's hard to make a good balance in formats. Hopefully the new step point system in the next Grand League works out without having an overload of negative comments. Well played to Granady who deserved the victory in this one

Granady is way better in this format. I imagine using a wheel for 6 laps can be very tiring and probably results in lots of mistakes he wouldnt normally make

granady only practiced very little in OGL especially the first steps. He is just much better than any trackmania player lol

The thing about granady is that he is super consistent if he rly trains. But the training is lacking cause he is doing so much other stuff Pase vise he is a little behind the top 10 of tmgl players If he will get to tmgl i suppose he will end between 8 and 12 If he is rly focus training maybe better but at the moment i dont see him contesting the very best
