I'm a 40 year old long time Rush fan ....and I have to tell you not only as a Rush fan but a fan of all music ...this is one of the most beautiful covers I've heard in my life. It's not a performance , its a gift and thank you for it.

M Dave was simply pointing out that their long overdue recognition and the reaction to it, was evidence that they always were cool. It was just the world's best kept secret. So, I'm sure if Dave Grohl was reading your message, he would say "piss off" right back at you!🖕And Dave would be right on both counts...🙊

Beautiful cover! "Open Secrets" is one of my favorite obscure Rush songs...Hold Your Fire really hit me when I was 17, and that song in particular still resonates for me after 20 years.

@@chazstone6744 Yeah, I was one of the rarer younger/teenage Rush fans in the '90s, when most were in their 20s or 30s or older. And listening to '80s rock albums during the grunge era was definitely not looked upon as "cool" like it is now. People were still trying to move on and forget the '80s.

First of all, I have to admit until 20 minutes ago I had no idea who this girl was. She came up in my recommended list because I'm a huge Rush fan! Also happened to be a fan of Rush covers, especially when there done by females with great voices. This one blew me away! I actually watched it 15 minutes ago. But it took me those 15 minutes to recover my composure after her emotional rendition of this classic song. She really brought the lyrics to life and it honestly choked me up. Well done! I'd like to see her do some more Rush covers. I would like to see her cover another obscure Rush song, maybe Cinderella Man or The Pass.🤟

the singer from yynot and you are awesome. I would love to see rush reform with a female vocalist( replacing Geddy Lee's vocals) but since Neil peart is retired another drummer would be needed but Alex and Geddy could still be part of it.
