I discovered inversions through playing in alternate tunings: specifically Robert Fripps "New Standard Tuning" being tuned in fifths really allows for some crazy chord shapes, and really taught me how beautiful inverting 3rds into 6ths can sound. Favorite distortion pedal is more of a fuzz pedal technically, but the Hizumitas by Earthquaker Devices is such a versatile fuzz leaning towards distortion that sounds massive. I'm curious if you play in any alternate tunings like I was mentioning before, if you ever did a video on it I'd be curious how you approach them. Your playing is so good you don't even need it but still I'm a sucker for weird tunings (ala Joni Mitchell, Steve Malkmus, Niko Wenner [very underrated guitarist], and Thom Yorke)

TC MojoMojo is very cheap used and good for lower gain sounds. There's your typical 4 knob layout: bass, treble, drive, and volume. I think distortion pedals are somewhat dependent on the sound source (volume, impedance, tonal balance, dynamics) and amplification device, as far as whether they work out or not. So, all of our recommendations might suck in your set-up! Hard to tell. I live Moogerfooger pedals almost everywhere, but they're big and expensive. They all have a Drive knob which is excellent sounding.

אחי there are tons of amazing sounding distortion pedals....DS 1 by boss is extreme Satriani style yeahhh, tube screamer Ibanez ts9... about overdrives one of my favorites is chandler tube driver...than there are fuzz and inlike fuzz face by Dunlop and also big muff with an overdrive before it ... Just buy all the distortions availables חחחחחח....btw i suggest you to try behringer pedals they are really nice

For the most notorious distortion pedal, it's hard to go wrong with the Boss HM-2. Not pretty, but very fun.
