Hey! Thanks for the video, but i do have a question. I came her right from the Auto Material vid, is there a step i missed in between that vid and this? because at 13:07 you connect it to the result node of the material, but it looks different, like its all connects to material attributes, but i dont have that, just the big node where the base colour, normal, etc connects. Sorry, but i'm still very inexperienced with Unreal materials. To clarify my question, the paint that we just created here goes into what on my result?

So, this one is from the RVT video. Actually, I have this issue with the "Remove Foliage" video which I have to find next :) A playlist would be so much useful!

Looks amazing! I do have one problem with the displacement though, it appears to be inverted on my landscape, such as the cervices being higher than the rocks. Do you know what's going on or how I could fix it?

Use x-1 one to invert it

Hi! Thanks for the video! Unfortunately at the end when I try to paint I have the information just from the Automaterial. Do you have any idea why all the others layers (rock, stone, grass ecc..) don't have any info? They just paint blank squares 😢

Really great and powerful material at this point, but I wonder if there's a simple way to add something like "water" and "remove water" layers

@@CGDealers indeed, (for those who face the same question) I just created a RemoveWater layer and then multiplied the slope mask by one minus layer sample. And yes, this tutorial series is awesome and saved me hundreds of hours.

Is RVT working with displacement now?

I add it for the simple without RVT for now. But you can just make the same connections to the RVT material and it will work :)

@CGDealers Nice! gonna go ahead and do that lol... I had seen incomplete connections in the released project files and wondered if you left it because of a bug.

@@Zeridian881 What incomplete connections? If it's broken and there are no connections then you did not import it correctly and this breaks the connections.

@CGDealers This is with the first 5.4 displacement release, the one where turning on RVT with displacement causes black... I have my own modifications and layers now, so I have to merge the new updates myself. Probably easier to explain over on the discord later lol
